This stunning central Southwold property , nestled within its own half acre of secluded garden yet in a very central location right next to the shops and close to the beach. The very high quality conversion was completed in 2012 incorporating lots of real oak throughout, a beautiful granite 'chefs' kitchen and a warm contemporary seaside theme to all rooms. The very high class-state of the art interior has excellent facilities including, special atmospheric lighting, televisions, memory-foam beds, and ensuites to every bedroom, ground floor accommodation for those less mobile, underfloor heating to ground floor, a large amount of private parking, landscaped gardens and terraced areas with bbq for summer dining, woodburning stoves for winter coziness, free WI-FI & smart tv in the main lounge.

“Fabulous House & stay”
Wow a fantastic house 7 bedrooms all en-suite. Huge Lounge / summer room enough space for all our party. Great equipped Kitchen with everything you could need. Location is ideal just a 2 minute walk to the high street which has lots of nice shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. We are already looking at booking again next year.

We have been visiting Southwold for 17years & this is our second holiday in Burchley House. Both the property & the nearby amenities offer everything you would wish for. Ideal for large family gatherings & the addition of a large garden room was perfect for our needs.
Excellent accomodation very comfortable and clean. A lovely week enjoyed a sixth annual stay here Southwold as interesting as ever
Stayed a wonderful week in the Burchley for a 60th birthday family celebration, the house was so well equipped and a very high standard spec throughout, front and back gardens well kept with plenty of seating. Cannot fault, perfect for our 12 guests and a toddler.

Perfect location for quaint and quirky shops with a lovely uncommercialised beach on the doorstep. Wonderful house with en suites for every bedroom. A great place for large family gatherings. Thoughtful additions. We would definitely return. A must stay for all.

Great House in a great location. Had family members ranging from 2 - 82 here for a fun filled 5 days. Would certainly recommend to anyone. Excellent facilities throughout the property.

A fantastic house for a larger group. Modern spacious and well equipped. The owners have thought of everything , even a dog bath!! It's positioned perfectly for exploring beautiful Southwold without having to get the car out. We had an amazing few days and would highly recommend this property.
“Great house for a large family break close to the High Street”
The house was just perfect for us - a large family weekend away celebrating a special birthday. The High Street is on your door step so it's in a great location. There were some nice welcoming touches... The house (especially the kitchen) is very well equipped. A great time was had by all. Communication with the owner and housekeeper was excellent. We will definitely look to return and highly recommend.
This is the 2nd time weve stayed at Burchley House & again we had an absolutely fabulous time. The house is extremely well equipped, spacious & comfortable making it perfect for a large group of people, we were a party of 15 people which were made up of a mixture of families & couples. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it & hopefully we will back for another visit.
