Phil and Sylvia Blore would like to extend a very warm welcome to you at No 3 Lagoon our beautiful home in Southbroom, KwaZulu Natal.

The village of Southbroom is buried in a tropical paradise and the perfect venue for a relaxed and stress free holiday.

The magnificent pristine beaches are lapped by the warm currents of the Indian Ocean. They boast a stillness and tranquility unparalleled anywhere.

Protected by shark nets and due to its unique position Southbroom lends itself well to surfing and scuba diving.

The safe clear tidal pools make an ideal place for children to explore and of course Mum and Dad can join in too!

Fishing both onshore and offshore is well catered for. Bring your own tackle and take a leisurely walk along the coast from our local Umkobi beach to Marina Beach and take advantage of the excellent surf casting. Before leaving on your return journey home why not enjoy a refreshing beverage at The Shipwreck Pub situated right on the beach?

Southbroom also has a small Supermarket, Doctors surgery, Village Restaurant, Bowling Green, Tennis Courts and an extensive sandy beach with ‘Granny’s Pool’

Poolside Braai

After a strenuous day exploring in the sun why not relax and treat yourself to a Braai down by the pool.

Quilting

Quilting is a passion of Sylvia’s. The bed coverings and wall hangings in the villas are some examples of her work and commissions are welcomed.

No 3 Lagoon consists of two self-catering villas, Tranquility and Peace.

Both units are available for rent separately or together if required.

Tranquility Villa

Tranquility is designed to accommodate six people in three bedrooms. There is also a sofa settee that can be utilised for two extra guests by prior arrangement.

All bedrooms benefit from en-suite bathroom facilities.

The villa has a large airy lounge with sliding doors leading to its own secluded garden which overlooks the pool area and main garden.

The large, comfortable living room has the benefit of two comfortable sofas and a single chair.

A flat screen HD TV is installed.

Both bathrooms are installed with showers

The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer and a dishwasher.

A washing machine and clothes dryer are available for use by guests.

An iron, ironing board and hairdryer are also supplied.

A gas fired water heating system is installed negating any issues we may experience due to electrical power outages.

Peace Villa.

Peace has the advantage of seclusion from the main compound and benefits from having its own entrance gate and private garden.

There is a large Lappa with wooden deck which contains an integral Jacuzzi. These facilities are conveniently accessed via the double doors from the lounge and kitchen making dining and relaxing an easy and enjoyable experience.

Peace is designed to accommodate 4 persons in high comfort. It has two large separate bedrooms both having the advantage of en-suite shower and toilet facilities.

Access to the deck, Lappa, Jacuzzi and private garden is gained via its large living room which has the benefit of two comfortable sofas and dining table for 4. A flat screen HD TV is installed.

The fully fitted kitchen has a gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.

An iron and hairdryer are supplied.

A washing machine and clothes dryer are available for use by guests.

The villa has the advantage of a gas fired water heating system and cooker hob being installed thus negating any issues we may experience due to electrical power outages.

Owners Resident on Site

Both Sylvia and myself reside in Serenity House. So we are on hand should you need any assistance or have any questions. As we are resident all year round 3 Lagoon remains open all year for long or short term stays.
