Situated on the Visit Britain 5 Star South Lakeland Leisure Village,near Carnforth.The lodge consists of an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen,dining and lounge area.The lodge sleeps upto 4 persons and has one double bedroom,one twin bedroom and a bathroom with a walk in shower(please note shower only no bath).Outside the lodge benefits from off road parking and a large decked area with patio furniture.The lodge is heated by an electric fire and electric panel heaters.

The lodge also benefits from excellent onsite facilities which include a restaurant and bar,indoor heated swimming pool,steam room,gym and beauty spa.

Brook Edge lodge is ideally situated for your visit to the Lake District and surrounding areas

“Overall not a lot to complain about”

Location lovely due to the number of vacant pitches around lodge finding the lodge however is horrendous hubby went back to collect car and literally drove round in circles trying to find lodge for over 30 minutes did laugh about it later not the owners fault but a frustrating start to our break the lodge itself is lovely well equipped and clean and warm only gripe the sofa is not very comfortable the dogs loved it the lodge not the sofa as I’ve said the site is a nightmare to navigate one way two way and dead ends got lost every time we left lodge however we did get to see the site which is beautiful the bar is very dog friendly always a plus when you take furry friends with you and the food was lovely and not to expensive we were unlucky with the weather but this is England would love to return and enjoy the site with some sunshine go and enjoy

Great stay. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely site for walks around. Large veranda made it a great secure area for our small children to play without worry of them wondering off. Thank you, we have already recommended you to friends and family and we will be back xx

I booked Brook Edge Lodge for a short break over New Year with my husband and 5 year old daughter. We we’re all very excited about our stay as from the picture it looked idyllic and the perfect place for us to enjoy a short break following Christmas - we were so wrong! On arrival we found the lodge to be very cold, damp, run down and not at all like the photo’s on trip advisor. The window in the main bedroom had a bad leak, leaving the window ledge covered in a pool of water. We we’re further horrified to find that the twin bedroom where my daughter was to be staying had no heater of any description, making the lodge unihabitabal for children during winter! Needless to say we left after 5 minutes with a very upset little girl. We have tried to contact Stuart the owner to discuss the issues and he is now ignoring us.

“Great place”

We stayed here for 4 nights and everyone, including the dog really enjoyed it. The accommodation has everything you could need and is lovely and clean. We really enjoyed exploring the local area during the day then spending quality family time playing board games etc. in the evenings. Everything was really well organised and the owner answers all emails really quickly. Would definitely recommend.

“Great location for visiting the lakes”

Had a lovely stay at the lodge, just a shame the weather wasn't great! The staff at reception were really helpful in helping me find where the lodge was. There's a good bar and restaurant onsite and leisure facilities available, although these are a little pricey to use. The lodge is located at the end of the site and there are quite a few empty plots surrounding it so it was very peaceful, there is noise from the M6 but I don't think it's as bad as some of the other reviews have said, I slept well. The lodge itself is very cosy and has everything you need. However I do think it would have been a little snug for a family of four

enjoyed my stay` at Brook Edge Lodge , it stands on its own, very close to the motorway , so you do get traffic noise, down side there is no shop on site and have to pay for wyfi and swimming,meals in the restaurant are a good price and very tasty i can highly recommend the fish and chips. the dog loved the stream running at the back of the lodge,

“Fantastic break”

Just come back from a 3 night break - and I loved it !!! The lodge was nice and comfortable, had everything you need for your stay. The rabbits running around were amazing to see, and the ducks too. If I was to be brutally honest, the road behind the lodge did produce a bit of noise, but as this was mentioned before hand it was to be expected. The grounds to the lodge are beautiful - there is a bar where they serve meals, I cannot rate the food as I didn't eat there. There is a gym, pool, sauna etc so plenty to do....overall, I really liked the place and the surrounding area. Thank you !!!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
