Guests can easily walk to the beach or the town and a 5 star Hotel Spa facility is only a couple of minutes' away.

The house has offered a perfect setting for many extended families wishing to holiday together alongside numerous birthday and anniversary celebrations or simply groups of friends reuniting for a weekend break. With 2 lounges and a separate dining room with seating area as well there's always plenty of space to relax in.

“Beautiful house”

Wonderful location. Close to town centre and sea front. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had children varying from quite young to teenagers, but there was plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own space. The owner was friendly and helpful and there was lots of information in the house about local attractions etc. We will definitely be back

The house was fantastic. It was huge and well furnished, with a spacious kitchen. Had it been summer I expect the rear garden (although small) would have been very pleasant, but it was winter and bitterly cold. Despite this we were very snug in this house and had a really pleasant stay. When we did go out we realised that the house is nearer to the town centre than we had thought and generally in a very good spot.

a group of 8 stayed at Kings House, 3 Children and 5 adults! The 3 Children were amazed at the house. spending the first hour exclaiming that they could not believe they were staying at a palace! they were equally impressed with each having their own large bedroom with a spare bed in each in case they did want a "sleepover" they also enjoyed the little extras such as some toys board games and a games console to keep them occupied when we were not out and about. as an adult, I can't deny the house was flawless from the beautiful bedrooms to the exquisite Kitchen and dining room, however, despite the finish. it's easy to forget that it is not your house, retaining it's homeliness I will definitely stay again!

We have recently returned from a long weekend at Kings House and it was perfect, there is loads of space and it was very clean and tidy. We had 4 young children between us and they absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Kings House was the perfect base for our trip to Scarborough. Although a large party we had plenty of space. The house is very well equipped and the kitchen had everything in it we could wish for. Being located on the edge of Scarboroughs South Cliff was perfect for long bracing walks around the resorts Marine drive (essential for working off all those fish and chips). The owner was very helpful from start to finish. We will definitely be back.

From the minute we arrived at the property it felt like home. 12 of us in a house and it still felt enormous! This property is kept to a very high standard, the kitchen was superb and we could all gather in there around the large central unit for a chit chat. Adjacent to this was a beautiful dining room with enough space for all of us around the table along with a beautiful fireplace and sofas. Lots of relaxation rooms if you wanted some alone time too. Couldn't ask for more. Bedrooms all to a high standard, the Master Bedroom being exceptional. On the South Bay, in the quieter area but just a minutes walk to the hussle and bussle of Scarborough's centre with more restaurants than you knew what to do with! Perfectly located. Brilliant weekend, made perfect with this beautiful property.

We had a lovely stay in Scarborough, the house was in a perfect location for us as we were attending a conference at the Spa which is just a few minutes walk. The bedrooms were all nice and its on a quiet road so not much traffic noise. The reception rooms were all lovely too and the kitchen very well equipped. The only complaint we had is that we would have appreciated a full sized dishwasher rather than a half sized one.

As imposing on the outside as it is elegant on the inside, this capacious townhouse manages to be both uncluttered and modern, yet warm and welcoming. Perhaps this was down to the huge kitchen which comfortably accommodated 8-10 for breakfast, especially with the back door open enabling people to wander in and out to the equally accommodating back garden with its diverse seating and dining arrangements. Or, perhaps it was the owner's happy knack of providing artwork for everyone but without disturbing the overall aesthetic. A superbly appointed playroom for the children, a dining/ living space for eating and lounging, a grand TV room to escape the throng, even a library with books a cut above the usual holiday crime thriller fare, this is a designer/boutique guesthouse to savour. Downside: the noise from the macerator in the downstairs loo. Surely that can be fixed!
