Honey Ridge is a spacious cabin with two private bedrooms and NO STAIRS to climb. We are located on 22 heavily wooded acres of a peaceful, private ridge. Internet is provided. It's only a 15 minute drive to Old Man's Cave, Conkle's Hollow, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls or Rose Lake. We are family built & hosted, and a member of Hocking Hills Tourism Association since 2005. We are pet friendly (see "Policies" below).

- designed on one floor so there are no stairs to climb, with a ramp from the parking area to the deck and front door (we do not claim to be wheelchair accessible as determined by the Ohio ADA; please call if you have specific needs)

POLICIES

~ Maximum Occupancy for the cottage is 6 people

~ Minimum Stay - we do require a two night minimum stay, no exceptions

~ Holidays - Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend require a three night minimum stay

~ Weekend - Thursday/Friday, Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday are priced at weekend rates

~ Weeknights - Sunday through Thursday are priced at weekday rates (except Sunday is a weekend when it is part of a Saturday/Sunday 2 night stay; Thursday is a weekend when it is part of a Thursday/Friday 2 night stay)

~ Weekly - 7 nights (must include consecutive Friday and Saturday nights - cannot run Saturday night through the following Friday night)

~ Credit Card - When paying through FlipKey, they will process your payment. However, Honey Ridge Cabins also requires your credit card information to be used in the event of damages caused to the property by the credit card holder or their guests. We will also provide a rental agreement which must be signed by the person providing the credit card, who becomes the Lessee.

~Check-in is anytime after 4:00 p.m. andCheck-out is 11:00 a.m.

~ Weather - We regret that we are unable to offer refunds due to severe weather, but we may be able to apply your deposit to a different date; please ask. Also, we recommend the use of a 4-wheel drive vehicle during the winter in the Hocking Hills area.

​​~ Insects - You are renting property in the country which is heavily wooded. There will be insects outside the cottage and occasionally inside. Chemical treatment helps, but does not guarantee that the cottage will be 100% insect free. Check your clothing and limit the time you leave the door open to help prevent bringing insects inside.

~ Credit Cards - Visa, Discover and MasterCard are accepted

~ Restrictions - Smoking is allowed on the deck; no smoking inside the cottage, & no smoking on the grounds as the woodland setting poses a fire hazard; use of fire ring may be restricted during dry forest conditions; guests may not have visitors at the cottage; ATV's can be parked here on trailers but not ridden; no hunting, loaded weapons, illegal drugs, or loud parties.

~ Pet friendly - We are happy to have your feline or canine family members stay with us, however, you must advise that you are bringing pets when you make your reservation.

~ Cancellations:

More than 14 days notice given - full refund less a $30 fee

14-3 days notice given and vacancy is not filled - 50% refund

14-3 days notice given and vacancy is filled -

full refund less a $30 processing fee

Why can't I call Beth (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Beth (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Beth (the owner) a message.

If Beth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
