The Yorkshire region
Bridlington’s beautiful beaches
Bridlington has two stunning beaches of gleaming golden sands, with a picturesque, bustling harbour in the middle. The harbour is a hive of activity with fishing boats bringing in the day's catch, pleasure cruises along the heritage coast, speedboat rides across the bay and North Sea fishing expeditions on offer.
For traditional entertainment try the funfair, kids' corner and donkey rides. Family attractions include Beside the Seaside, an entertaining look at Bridlington's history, and Bayside Pleasure Park, a mini theme park right on the promenade. On the edge of town is Sewerby Hall and Gardens, featuring a Museum, children's zoo, pitch and putt, putting green, craft units and tearooms.
The Old Town
If you head away from the beach into the Old Town and you will find a gem that has remained largely unchanged for centuries, where Olde Worlde pubs and antique shops rub shoulders with art galleries and tearooms. Why not follow the 'Old Town Trail' or visit the Bayle Museum which documents the history and heritage of the 'Old Town'.
Boynton is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles west of the town of Bridlington.
The village of Boynton and surrounding estates were bought by William Strickland in the 1530s.
Sewerby Hall was built by John Greame between 1714 and 1720 at Sewerby to the north of Bridlington. His successors added to the house and Sewerby Hall now has fine period rooms of the Georgian, Regency and Victorian eras, including a magnificent 19th century conservatory known as the Orangery.
Burton Agnes is a village close to Bridlington and Driffield in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
Places of interest include an Elizabethan Manor House, Burton Agnes Hall and a Norman Manor House, Burton Agnes Manor House.
Foundation Bridlington Priory was founded around 1113 by Walter de Gant, for Augustinian Canons Regular, one of the earliest Augustinian houses in England, with an adjoining convent. Its foundation was confirmed in charters by King Henry I of England.
Spa Royal Hall
The Spa Complex in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, was named the New Spa and Gardens when it was built, together with the adjoining sea wall, in 1896 by Whitaker Brothers of Horsforth, Leeds. After paying at the turnstile people could enter 5 acres of flower beds, walks and grassed areas, have meals in the refreshment rooms, go to the theatre or a concert, or simply sit and listen to the band playing in the glass domed bandstand.

Stayed here in June, without doubt the nicest holiday home we have stayed at in over fourty years. You really do have everything that you could possibly.need.Ideally situated for supermarket and great chippy (jacks) at the end of the road.Ten minute walk to town.Always fresh and clean feel.when you come in.Comfortable beds and bedding and towels were of good quality. If you meet the cleaning team they will give you friendly advice about the area. All in all cannot fault it here, enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
Thank your for taking the time to provide feedback very pleased that you had a good stay,
