This stone charming cottage is set within 3/4 of a beautiful garden and orchard and there is also a pool for you to enjoy, it is ideal for those looking for a remote rural setting. The garden has a patio set and parasol for the long sunny days in the garden. There is also a vegetable garden. Inside the cottage is a living/kitchen area with a small dining table for 4, a wc/shower room.Upstairs is a double bed and vanity area.Bed linen supplied. It also has a freeview tv and wifi . video recorder and dvd player.Kitchen has cutlery,fridge freezer microwave,toaster,hob oven.and other utensils.
2 mile away is a local bar and patisserie and there is a small town which has bars,banks supermarkets. The main town of Vire which is 15 min by car has a variety of shops and bars and history surrounding it. About 10 min away by car is a 18 hole golf course.
Lac De La Dathee is a lovely place that has a boat and fishing lake and wonderful walks.

The Basse-Normandie region

The region offers lots of things to see and do Normandy has a lot of history with ww2 and the Normandy beaches are a must, with all that they offer including the cemeteries, museums,beaches. all are worth a visit. They are about 1 hour 30 min away by car.
There is also the seaside town of Granville which has a large town to roam around and have a coffee or vino outside one of the many bars, also a lovely beach to enjoy.

Sourdeval

The area has a abundance of places to visit including St Sever forest with it's picnic area's and bike riding is very popular there and there is also Lac De La Dathee within 10 minute drive which has a 18 hole golf course,boating lake, Bike riding,walking it is so picturesque, you will not be disappointed.
The main town of Vire which is 15 minute drive is well worth a visit with it's many shops,bars banks and a Market Day on Fridays
well worth going.
There is a small village 2 mile away which has a Patisserie which has delightful bread and cakes and a bar across the road that does a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine for 12.50 Euros great value and great reviews on the food.
