“We WILL be back!”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2016

My husband and I stayed at Winnie's for a week in April. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean. We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. Also on our arrival were some very welcome treats (chocolate and locally made biscuits!). We did have a problem with water on our last day but as soon as we phoned the owners they did their utmost to sort it out and someone was at the house within half an hour to deal with it. We have booked the cottage again for September 2016 and will undoubtedly be back again to this cottage in this ideal location.

“Perfect weekend escape”

Reviewed 19 Mar 2012

Winnies Cottage provided my friends and I with the perfect weekend escape. The cottage itself was lovely and has been restored and decorated beautifully. The bedrooms were spotless and spacious. The living area while open planned is very cosy and is the perfect place to relax and unwind. While we could have easily stayed inside by the open fire all weekend, exploring the surrounding area is a must. We had a great time at Winnies and we can not recommend it highly enough. We'll be back that's for sure!

“Superb cottage set in beautiful surroundings”

Reviewed 29 Nov 2011

We arrived after an eventful trip over via the "Vomit Comet" fast ferry from Fishguard, to find an excellent cottage set in the beautiful Irish countryside close to the lovely village of Sneem with some great pubs and restaurants. We were left a very nice welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard and we could find no faults at all ( except with the weather ). There are 2 excelent golf courses close by and another in the very nice town of Kenmare which also has some excelent restaurants and pubs. All in all this was a brilliant visit and I would highly recommend it to anyone, we can't wait to go back.
