Detached farmhouse in exceptional location, quiet and secluded towards the end of a country cul-de-sac road and enjoying far reaching views over a tidal estuary and surrounding mountains. It is set in two acres with river/sea frontage. The colourful village of Sneem is about a mile with its six pubs, good restaurants and two 4 star hotels. Parknasilla (about 2½ miles) has 12-hole golf course and subtropical gardens with walks around the tidal inlets and islands. Four 18-hole golf courses within 20 miles. Deep water yacht harbour 2½ miles. Kerry Way walk route. Horse riding, deep sea, lake and river fishing. Ideally located for touring a very scenic area. Kenmare 16 miles for shops, restaurants, and wide choice of amenities. Sandy beaches within easy reach. Garden furniture.

Well furnished and equipped with kitchen/dining room with electric hob and oven and wood burning stove, utility room with washing machine and dryer, separate W.C. and stairs to spacious sitting room with wood burner. Two ground floor bedrooms, one with a double and one with two single beds and bathroom with bath with shower and W.C. Oil fired central heating. Duvets. TV (free to air)/DVD. Radio. Fridge/freezer. Dishwasher. Microwave. Hairdryer. One pet only (extra).

Children need to be supervised due to water access. €150 deposit payable on arrival.

Very well equipped cottage with great character near a wonderful village. The view from the cottage is really great . The local people in Sneem are friendly.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
