“DALES HOSPITALITY AT ITS BEST!”

Reviewed 23 May 2014

I booked Snape Mews as a base to explore the area where many of my family came from. Dianne and Dave assured me that all the locations I wished to visit were within easy reach. Parr Cottage is, quite simply, one of the best self-catering cottages I've experienenced in over forty years of such holidays. We were welcomed by fresh flowers and wine on the dining table; and an immaculately presented 'home from home' , with comfortable beds, a well fitted out kitchen, superb showers and stunning views of the neighbouring Snape Castle. Everyone we met made us most welcome, and the dog was offered a bowl of water everywhere we went - especially in Bedale and Leyburn. Although out every day, it was a lovely house to return to in the evening, for a leisurely meal- the local shops and produce are excellent. A Five - Star Break!
