Although the location of the apartment is very central it lies in a very Quiet Street made up of traditional Maltese townhouses and there is no construction or any other development allowed in this street.The apartment is on the first floor of a block of apartments (old Type-looks like a townhouse from the outside to blend in with neighbouring houses). It consists of a living area with LED Television, a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom with bath and a very spacious double bedroom leading on to a typical closed Maltese balcony and a small terrace.The apartment comes complete with linen and towels and has cable TV and free Wi-Fi Internet.

Minimum booking is four nights, prices will be quoted pro-rata according to the season.

Deposit of 40% is required on confirmation. Preferred deposit payment methods are by bank transfer

A refundable breakage deposit of 300euro is to be paid on check in either to be settled by visa or cash. The security deposit will be refunded via credit card if paid as such after a maximum of 30 days. Or via bank transfer - if paid in cash - with bank charges incurred to the beneficiary bank account [should s/he not be in SEPA country] after a maximum of 15 days. Thus the beneficiary bank details will be required to refund the deposit.

The apartment includes basic water and electricity (100kWh) supply for the whole stay which in most cases would be more than enough, however, in the rare cases when this amount is exceeded, electricity will be charged extra at a rate of 0.35 Euro per unit (1kwh).

Due to cleaning necessities the check-in time for the apartments is generally 2.00pm and the check-out is at 10.00am however if there are no arrivals on the same day the apartment can be kept for longer.

Long lets also available rates upon request from owner.

Apartment also available for long term booking of 6 months period maximum with a monthly rate, in such case utilities will not be included in the rate. Please do ask for quote should you be interested.

Please note that the rental price does not include the Environmental Contribution tax, introduced on June 2016 amounting to €0.50c per night

up to a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay in the Maltese Islands. This applies for 18-year-old and older.

The Island of Malta region

Malta has for sure earned a reputation more as a great holiday destination. The terrific Mediterranean climate, considerable amounts of sunshine even during the winter months and the clear, warm sea are just some of the things that lend it to this market. Add to the wonderful climate the lovely beaches, dramatic coastal scenery and variety of watersports and leisure activities, and it becomes clear why Malta is so popular with the package holidaymaker.

Malta is by no means only a place for the beach lover however. In fact, stick only to the sea and sand and you'd miss out on Malta's true highlights. Its amazing and ancient past is evident all around you the minute you step off the beaches. Man's comprehensive temple-building spree left the Ggantiji temples on Gozo, the oldest freestanding structures on earth and the labyrinthine Hypogeum containing 3600-year-old bones amongst others. A few days off the beaches will give you time to explore the bustling street of Valletta, the charm walled capital Mdina, the many attractive stone-built towns and the wonderful villages that demonstrate the quieter side of Mediterranean life.

Malta has a lot to offer, so whether its sea and sand, or history that you're after, you'll find it more than satisfies.



Sliema

Sliema and the coastline up to neighbouring St Julian's constitutes Malta's main coastal resort. It is a centre for shopping, restaurants and caf'e life. Sliema is pronounced "sleeyma" and sometimes mistakenly pronounced "selima" by tourists.

Sliema is also a major commercial and residential area and houses several of Malta's most recent Shopping Malls, full of shops, restaurants, banks, supermarkets, Internet cafes, and day cruise boats.The road continues north to St. Julians and Paceville and southward towards the Strand Gzira, Ta Xbiex , Msida and Valletta. Sliema, coming from the word Sliem ,meaning 'peace', was once a fishing town on the peninsula across Grand Harbour from Valletta. The town began to develop rapidly in the early 20th century as a summer resort for wealthier Valletta residents. Their elegant villas and town houses line the quiet, inland streets. The Sliema promontory offers on one side stunning views across to Valletta and on the other, open sea views. The promenade, which runs for several kilometers from Gzira just south of Sliema to St Julian's, is ideal for walker and joggers. There are plenty of seats along the promenade and on summer evenings the seafront becomes a sociable meeting place for locals. The coastline has two tower fortifications: a De Redin watch tower built in the 17th century; the other was built by the British in neo-gothic style in the 1880s

The bus stop is just down the road from the apartment and the ferry boats are only about 15 minutes walk away. The Paceville area boasts a number of night clubs, cinemas and shopping malls. For those having young children, the Sliema promenade has a number of gardens and playgrounds were the children can spend some time playing.

“Tutto perfetto!”

L'appartamento è tenuto in ottime condizioni, è moderno, pulito, completo di tutto il necessario. Quando abbiamo avuto bisogno di qualcosa , Donna è sempre stata gentile e disponibile. La zona di San Giuliano è raggiungibile in meno di 10 minuti a piedi. Consiglio questo appartamento soprattutto a quelli che vogliono riposare tranquillamente la notte e raggiungere facilmente il lungomare di Sliema/San Giuliano. Piccolo consiglio: manca una presa elettrica nel bagno :) Grazie di tutto Filippo Prisma
