Description

(Formerly Gold) Caravan situated on the sea front giving gorgeous views of the sea.Just a few minutes walk from the amenities provided by Parkdean Resorts for a small charge. Opening date for 2019 is 15th March.

The main bedroom has an en suite toilet and sink. With wall lights over each side of the king size bed there is no need to worry about falling in the dark.

There are 2 spacious wardrobes , cupboard spaces and a vanity desk. There is also a small tv in the main bedroom. There is a travel cot should you need it or by all means use it as a play pen on the balcony or in the lounge. There is also a hair dryer and styling straighteners.

The twin bedroom also has a wardrobe and wall lights over each bed. These can be pushed together to make a double if needed.There is cupboard space ideal for hiding those midnight feasts. . There is also a small hair dryer . There is a tv with freeview channels and built in DVD.Sometimes a little bit of tots tv can just finish off what the sea air and fun activities have started and send the kids off to sleep to wake refreshed for another day of adventures.

If preferred the beds can be pushed together and made up as a double bed.

The shower room has a spacious shower with seating shelves if needed, wash basin and toilet. There is also a heated towel rail and a storage cupboard.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils and crockery . There is a gas cooker with extractor hood, microwave, toaster, slow cooker, dolce gusto machine, kettle and full size integrated fridge and freezer. There are plenty of storage cupboards too so one trip to Tescos in either Hornsea ( the closer) or Bridlington and your food shopping is done for the whole of your stay. Major supermarkets deliver to the caravan.

We have a high chair too should you need it.

The open living space has a dining area consisting of Dining table and 4 chairs with overhead lighting.

The lounge area has ample seating which incorporates the pull out double bed. There is a 32" DTV with DVD player. Although there is central heating throughout all rooms, there is a wall mounted fire should you need it. Or just put the light feature on to give a cosy glow at the end of the day. There are also some board games and playing cards should you want to stay indoors. Knowing how important it is these days to be able to access the internet, we provide WIFI in our caravan.

Outside on the balcony there are 2 chairs a sofa and a table if you want to relax and do a spot of people watching or just soak up the scenery and sound of the sea. If you wish to sit out til the early hours there are outside lights on the caravan both at the side and front.

Extras included in the cost include table top ironing board and iron, hoover, hair dryer, cleaning products, Linen (one set for each bed) ,towels, board/card games,kite, dvds. Gas and electricity is also included.

A leisure pass can be purchased from Park Resorts to allow access to all of the amenities. Prices for 2018 are7Apr-22nd April and 26 May -8 August £59.00 per week or £40 per short break but it is only one pass per caravan not per person All other dates are £44 per week and £30 per short break.. Children under 5 do not need a pass. There are lots of things to do including, heated indoor swimming pool with sauna and steam room, small gym, a sport hall, ten pin bowling alleys, large amusements with soft play area for over 3s, kids club , parks and fishing/duck lake.

There is also a laundrette and convenience store.

In the case of an accident or injury all guests stay in our caravan at their own risk. We accept no responsibility so you may wish to take out holiday insurance to care for any unforeseen accidents. For a few pounds it is better to be safe than sorry. We do not provide insurance this is down to you if you think you may need it.

All that is left to say is I hope if you choose to stay in our holiday home by the sea you go home with a whole lot of lasting happy memories.

“A great alternative for a chill pill”

Have just returned from an excellent three night stay at Skipsea Sands, where we were able to enjoy the spectacular sea views from the comfort of a well maintained and pristine and well equipped caravan. The ability to relax out on the sea facing balcony with a few beer's listening to the sound of the wave's rolling up the sands and watching the sunset slowly disappear below the horizon is the the ultimate 'alternative to a chill pill'. Thank you Chris and Ian, for allowing us to have that experience, we will be definitely returning next year.
