“New Year gathering”
The house and location were perfect plenty of room for 13 adults and a child to eat together and also be able to play party games but also smaller spaces to escape and be quiet. The bedrooms were large and plenty of bathrooms. The house was well stocked with crockery and cutlery although serving spoons could be added and also saucepans with lids especially the larger ones as it is for large gatherings. Would go back again.
Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review; we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay.

The amazing games room with full size snooker table .darts, chess, bar area all family happy all bedrooms super, our main cook was so pleased with all aspects of kitchen all the family of 15 were as pleased with the house and loved it. have given 5 stars would have given 6 all loved it Linda and Family
I have stayed at the house many times, and it never disappoints. Fantastic house, spotless and enough room for everyone including the dog. Excellent communication with Claire, very flexible where possible with dates, quick to respond. Will definitely be back
“Family , fun ,togetherness and memories”
We rented this house for 3 generations of our family and it really surpassed expectations. The house itself provided ample space for 12 of us not to get under each others feet and have room to move. Everyone was happy with their rooms and all had use of their own en suite except for 1 but they got the family bathroom! The kitchen was well equipped and not short on utensils like we have found in other houses. It was lovely for us all to be able to sit around the dining table to eat too. One night we made use of the BBQ on the patio. Our older kids loved the games room, which kept them entertained in the evening. The younger kids loved the toy box, the sandpit ,the swings ,roundabout and fort slide. We were lucky with our weather and were able to spend time on the gorgeous beach at the bottom of the garden just down a little pathway and a couple of steps. You do need a windbreak though we took our own with us. If like us you have young children we got buckets and spades too as it saves on the walk into Skegness which meant they could play straight away During our stay the kids also went bowling and to the pier ,to the aquarium and to ingoldmells to fantasy island. The house allowed us to all come together at mealtimes and evenings playing games generally having fun family time together. One priceless moment will be my husbands face and my one year old granddaughters as he took her for a paddle in the sea for the first time ever.
“Fantastic for a family get together”
We stayed here as an extended family of 15 (8 adults and 7 children) We had a great week. The house is amazing and the garden just perfect for the children aged 3-11. The house was clean and well looked after with everything we needed. Michaela who let us in was great at showing us where everything was and making it clear we who to contact with any problems. Access to the beach was perfect and with such a huge beach, even during half term we had loads of space to ourselves. Walking distance to the pier and all the attractions on Skegness seafront. A couple of slight niggles. One of the single bedrooms was downstairs. Most of the children were too young to be left downstairs on their own at night. However, the 11 year old relished it. We had to do a bit of room juggling to make it work. It might have been useful to mention in the description that one room was downstairs. Unfortunately a lot of the curtains and blinds in the bedrooms were very thin for our liking. This was especially apparent in the master bedroom where the curtains were very thin and the sun rose on this side of the house, resulting in some very early mornings and lack of sleep! Just a warning to others, the towels are very small, so if you are used to a large bath towel after a shower/bath you may be best off taking your own. All in all a good week. We would definitely consider booking again for another family party.
I have stayed many times and will be back again. Excellent house, perfect for holidays. Nothing is too much trouble to organise and it is spotless. Will be back again
“Lovely house in wonderful position”
This very clean and well presented house is in an ideal location with the beach at the bottom of the garden. 15 of us have just spent Christmas here, the weather was excellent and we had long walks on the beach every day. There was plenty of room for everyone in the house and activities for all ages. The snooker room was particularly popular. There was ample parking for five cars and we would not hesitate to go back. If staying over Christmas we would recommend the pantomime which was great fun.
“St Andrews lodge Skegness”
We stayed at St Andrews lodge Skegness for 3 nights and it was brilliant, the house was lovely and had plenty of room and everything you could need during the stay. My boys loved the games room with full size snooker table it was hard to get them out of there! The garden looked absolutely beautiful and the sea views out of the window were amazing, This house is brilliant for large families. We will definitely be going back in summer.
“Brilliant, we loved the house”
Would recommend going to the seal sanctuary and hardys farm. The aquarium was over priced, as it is small. The Italian restaurant Tarantinos was excellent, and we used the fish & chip shop at the end of the road which was very nice.
“Fabulous house for our large family”
We had a great time staying in this well equipped house. It was just as you see in the photos, clean, attractive and everything we needed for a good holiday. Many thanks
