Lilac Villa is a very large and beautiful 5 bedroom Holiday Home in Skegness just two minutes walk to an award winning beach and to the Sea Front and main promenade. It is located in the quieter North part of the town however the town centre is only a 10 minute walk.
The reviews left by guests are always positive and mainly mention how large the house is and what a great location it's in.
There are many amenities close by (5 minutes walk only) including: Natureland Seal Sanctuary, the North Shore Hotel with an 18 hole golf course, the pier, Pleasure Beach funfair, Xsite for extreme sports and also many restaurants, pubs and takeaways.
Skegness is full of interesting things including Gibralter Point Nature Reserve, Stock Car racing and the newly opened seafront aquarium.
A 45 minute drive will bring you to Alford which has antique shops; a twice weekly farmers market; regular craft market; five-sailed windmill and Manor House to discover. Heading further along the coast for half an hour then you will find the quiet sea-side resort of Sutton-on-Sea and the livelier resort of Mablethorpe, both with wonderful Blue Flag beaches.
The open top bus runs by the house and will take you to Butlins which is good fun for a day out with the family. Or you can carry on another five minutes and visit Fantasy island with a large funfair and many bars restaurants and entertainment venues. There is also an open air market there which is said to be the largest in Europe.
Or if you feel like exploring a little further afield we are also close to the Lincolnshire Wolds which are ideal for the rambler or cyclist. How about a visit to Horncastle with its many antique shops; or Louth, the Historic Capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds, both a half hour drive away. An hour's journey away you will find the Cathedral City of Lincoln with its shops, museums and eateries. Take a drive another day and you can visit historic Boston, the home of the Pilgrim Fathers' and the Boston Stump.
Finally who can forget that Lincolnshire is 'Bomber County' and we are ideally placed to visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at Coningsby which is around 40 minutes drive away. The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby, is the home of the only other working Lancaster in the Country and is about 30 minutes drive away.
At Lilac Villa there is off street parking for two cars and unrestricted parking on the street.
The enclosed private garden has a sitting out deck area with table, chairs and barbeque
Around the corner is a Co Op with an in house bakery and a brand new Asda Express.
There's also a newsagents off license and pet shop, with a nice Italian restaurant called San Rufos across the street as well as Salts
fish and chip shop with sit in café or take away. The other direction on Seaview Road leads you to the beach. There is another fish
and chip shop here called Seaview Fisheries which will deliver. (This is always a good idea on your first night !)

Also the historical City of Lincoln is located 42 miles away. Here is situated the famous Lincoln Cathedral as featured in the Da Vinci Code Film and book. There are lots of shops and restaurants, art galleries, theaters and boutiques.
Skegness is a seaside town, with an award winning beach. It is an ideal and traditional British holiday destination.
During August there is Carnival week with many extra attractions including a Parade through the town.
There is a funfair and Dinosaur land, Natureland Seal Sanctuary and Nature Reserve at Gibraltar point. The North Shore and Seacroft Golf courses are very close by.
Other attractions include a newly built aquarium, boating lake and model village.
It is surrounded by farmland and there are many local fishing lakes, water sports and horse riding stables close by.
At the top of the road is the Xsite with indoor and outdoor skateboard and BMX ramps.
Within a half an hour drive there are some lovely little Market towns to visit such as Boston, with it's Wednesday and Saturday open air market.
The house is located in a brilliant position to walk to the bowling greens located behind the Sun Castle.
