“Excellent Villa in good location with direct access to sea.”

Reviewed 17 Jun 2013

Excellent Villa. The location is good within walking distance of Skala. Direct access to sea is a plus. The villa is visited daily by cleaners, with the pool and filters being cleared each day.

“Paradise”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2011

Wow .. what an idyllic location, away from it all, yet close enough to shops and restaurants of Skala not to be too isolated. The main Skala to Poros road is about 30 metres away, but you hear very little traffic at all, due to the sunken location of the property and gardens. You really do feel as if you have the whole of Kefalonia to yourself when you are in Villa B looking out towards the sea. When you take a walk down the short access path to the coast, you will encounter a bay all to yourself to snorkel in the warm crystal clear waters. While we stayed, we were lucky enough to see 2 turtles swimming past us as we were snorkelling in the sea. The villa has everything you could need for your stay (including towels to use around the pool). The only negative point I could find, is that there are a lot of glasses in the kitchen, where plastic cups etc. would probably have been more suitable (especially for use around the pool area), in case of breakage and accidents. Annita (the owner) is a lovely lady, who will help you all she can, and is always available as she lives next door. The pool gets cleaned every day, and bins emptied/villa cleaned daily in what is a 1st class service. Anyone booking Villa Brio, will not be disappointed, and will have many happy memories of their stay on this beautiful island. I would recommend car hire, for trips to the supermarket/restaurants etc. A taxi ride from the airport is around 50-55 euros. There were some taxis which refused to take us from Skala to the Villa in the evening, and we never got to the bottom of the reason why. But this was only a minor inconvenience, as there are others which are more than happy to give you the short ride back in the evening. We hope to return to this fabulous location in the very near future, our one regret is that we couldnt bring the warm sunshine back to the UK

“Great location, nice villa”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2011

Perfect for a beach/pool holiday but you need a car if you have young children or do not like walking about a mile to the shop. Absolutely great location, as advertised and described and pampered with good maid/pool service etc. Property could do with a little more basic utensils and condoments in the kitchen so you do not have to buy everything for a one week stay. The support from the owner is very good - Q&A, directions, help on site etc Take snorkel, flippers etc if you like swimming in the sea!

“Coomfortable and quiet”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2011

We spent one week in the Villa (Two families with young kids). Villa was exactly like in the offer. Very professional and flexible management. Perfect location for people looking for relaxation, beautiful beaches and good food. Far away from city noise. Just a place for family vacations.

“Beautiful, quiet and spotlessly clean villa”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2011

This villa is certainly large enough for two couples and four children. We stayed for a week but it was just the two of us. The whole villa is spotlessly clean and the cleaner attends every day. The swimming pool is clean and is maintained everyday. All of the stuff worked. TV, Broadband, satelitte TV, DVD, washing machine Barbeque etc etc. The view across the sea was fantastic, with a little path that went down to the rocks where there was some decking. The snorkelling was fantastic. 10 minutes away is Poros, some great tavernas and a very quiet peaceful evening view across the harbour. The owners are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. There are three houses being built next door to the villa but some trees have been planted that will hide the buildings within a year or to. The whole enviroment is very peaceful and we would recomend it to anyone. We certainly intend to return. This is the perfect location for a holiday whether you are a family or just a couple.

Owner's reply: Dear Guests, Thanks for your kind words; we are glad to hear you have really enjoyed your stay in our villas! Just clarifying your point about the newly built villas in a plot close to ours: As you have also experienced yourselves, no building work is in progress during the touristic season (May- October). The completion of these (almost finished) houses is expected to take place during the period November-April. Fare well!
