The Saronic islands are very popular Greek islands for day trips, weekend breaks and holidays because of there location being the nearest Greek islands to Athens. Agistri island can be reached from Athens or Aegina by a number of boats in just ten minutes, these include the Agistri Express and a number of small "water taxis" to the island is an hour's boat ride from the large Athenian port of Piraeus. The ferry boat reaches first the port of Aegina island and then the port of Agistri island So, visitors can come from Aegina to Agistri island with the ferry boat that reaches the ports:Piraeus - Aegina - Agistri
