We are pleased to offer for rent the luxurious cottage which we take great pride in, situated to the west of the town of Silloth on Solway. This property is a sister property to our already successful holiday let, Prospect House. (only 5* reviews on trip advisor)

We'd be able to offer this new property on its own as part of a combined booking, of the 2 propertys, as they are only 3 doors apart.

The property, which overlooks The well renowned Silloth golf course, has a gas central heating system and double glazing,

Wake up to Beautiful views from the front bedroom overlooking the golf course and sand dunes on the Solway Firth.

Silloth is noted for its excellent 18 hole natural links Golf Course, one of the most attractive and testing in the North which has hosted two ladies open championships.

The level countryside of the Solway Plain provides a variety of interesting walks and easy cycling all round. Silloth is located on both the Cumbria Coastal Way and Cumbria Cycle Way.

Grune Point is a fascinating peninsula projecting a mile into Moricambe Bay and the Solway Estuary. Like the rest of the Solway Coast it is a haven for many seabirds and small migratory birds of interest to the keen birdwatcher.

For those seeking the ultimate in solitude and relaxation the wildlife of the Solway Marshes is only minutes away. The area around Silloth includes inter-tidal saltmarshes and sand-dunes which are designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest because of the richness in rare plants, birds and other animals. The Solway Coast around Silloth has been identified as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' because of its unique coastal landscapes and habitats. The Solway Coast Discovery Centre, based in the town, is the gateway to the Solway Coast AONB and is well worth a visit.

Sea fishing is a popular pastime and north west of England competitions are held here.

Historically the area is very important and has been designated a World Heritage Site because of it's Roman military remains which formed part of the Hadrian's Wall defence network.

In the town itself there are the usual local stores (inlcuding a coop & a spar), souvenir shops, amusements, plenty of places to eat & drink, even an ice cream parlour, tennis courts, bowling, and other amenities on the Green including a new water park and a new woodland adventure trail or the major holiday parks, including swimming pools.

"Brilliant Home from Home."

This lovely house was a pleasure to stay in. Everything that you need to stay away was provided and in a spotless condition on arrival. Comfortable beds and a safe garden for children and or pets. Good information pack provided and excellent contact info provided if you should need to speak to owner directly. Clever touch was a folder left by others who have stayed giving info on places to visit and where to eat. The situation of the property allows walking into Silloth within minutes. Having stayed in many cottages in the past this one sits as one of the top ones to revisit. Value for money and more besides.

"Excellent accomodation in convenient setting."

2 adults and children aged 2 and 5. Accomodation was very clean and well equipped. Situated across the road from golf course and beach. Convenient to many local amenaties. Plenty for the children to do. Silloth itself has a water park and huge green to play on. Locals very friendly and we loved the fairy emporium - complete with fairy dust! Thank you Shaun.

"A lovely property"

Had a lovely week here, with my Husband & teenage son. The house was clean & very well presented. Would definitely book again. Was also well situated, for trips out in either direction.
