Description

The condo benefits from its own private pool. The living room, master bedroom, and lanai (balcony) all have stunning ocean views. The lanai, with over $10,000 of new doors and windows, is furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. There is also a comfortable couch to curl up and read a book with the sound of the ocean to keep you company. With one king and two twins, the condo is ideal for couples or families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

Getting around

The Siesta Key Breeze trolley made its way through Sarasota and onto Siesta Key today. Effective March 20th, 2017, SCAT added the Siesta Key Breeze open-air trolley service to its county transportation routes. The cost is FREE and runs Monday thru Sunday 8am-midnight. Enjoy a glass or wine or two with dinner and not have to worry about driving!

As guests of private homes ourselves, we prefer to have our own space; however, if you need assistance during your stay we can always be reached by email and have a great housekeeper and maintenance person. We are happy to suggest activities, places to see, restaurants to eat at. We also love learning about new places our great guests have enjoyed to share with others!

“Awesome place! Comforts of home, but with an amazing view!!!”

Loved our stay. Very comfortable beach getaway. Everything we needed was here. Great sunsets, beach, and pool. Saw two manatee, lots of pelican, and one turtle. The lanai overlooking the beach and water was a real hit! Would definitely stay again!

My family consists of my wife, 14 and 11 year olds, and me. This condo has a King master bedroom with a Gulf water view, and a bedroom with bunk beds. Both bedrooms have their own shower and bathroom. The condo is on the low-key more residential side of Siesta Key called Turtle Beach. It is still very near supplies, restaurants, pubs, markets, post office, grocery and lunch spots. It's just that Turtle Beach is more secluded and less "Animal House" than downtown Siesta Beach. If you want to relax, fish, lay on the beach, read a book on the patio at sunrise or sunset, and watch the sun set over the Gulf every night in your windows, then this is your place. There is a nice sized living room with couch, chairs, and flat screen TV. It has a full operational kitchen with full refrigerator and all kitchen gadgets and supplies. We made two very nice meals there, lots of breakfasts', and had friends over several times for cocktails and beach time. The condo has it's own numbered parking spot, and a marina slip for each unit with a boat ramp very nearby. You can fish for snook in the marina, or the beach is great too for fishing. The condo is near the stairs, elevator and laundry but that did not make it loud, just convenient. There is a freshwater shower and a walkway over the dune right by the condo. The common pool is small but clean and close if you want to go beach-pool-nap mode. We chartered Siesta Key Fishing Charters and caught almost 100 fish offshore, 10 huge keeper Red Grouper that we ate in the condo, froze and took home, gave away and traded for other cool stuff. We also really enjoyed eating at Big Water Seafood Market, they will clean and cook your fish, or sell you some, or feed you at their restaurant. Both of those companies can also be found highly rated on TripAdvisor. That's how I found all three....and I couldn't be happier. It was a great vacation at a chill place decorated "beachy style", on a relaxed beach near nice convenient stops, all the while having Siesta Village and Siesta Key Beach just down the road. Siesta Village is awesome and less crowded on weekdays. We had no problem parking even with the July 4th weekend and the offshore powerboat racing both that week. That being said this is a rental condo, and they are not perfect, because they are used and loved. I miss it. We will go back. And, the owners are super good at communicating, troubleshooting, returning security deposits, and all the other things we would hope work well after a great relaxing week. Be careful shopping, there are a lot of condos that say waterfront that aren't oceanfront. and lots of condos aren't really on the ocean although you are made to believe they are, but this one really is. Big Gulf of Mexico views in your face for a week. Big sunsets. Big sunburns. Big bellies full of super fresh fish. Big smiles from your family and friends. I say, book it and dare to be called Vacation Hero....

We had an excellent week here! It is perfectly located for the beach without bring in the middle of the main tourist area of Siesta Key or the impressive, but at times busy public beach. Because it's that little bit quieter the selection of wildlife you constantly see is wonderful. The apartment itself is probably the best we've stayed in. You can really tell it's privately owned and equipped in a way that your expect at home. The cleanliness and quality of facilities was first class. I'd be very surprised if they ever get problems with dirty/thoughtless clients as it's the sort of place that you want to treat like your own home. If you're looking for a lovely apartment, on a beach, close to all amenities, but far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquility, this is the place. Fabulous for a family/couples holiday. The owners were also really helpful, both before arrival with all the arrangements, directions etc. and during the stay by responding very quickly to contact, without in anyway feeling intrusive.

I stayed in the 2 bdrm condo at turtle beach for 1 week in April 2012. The location is excellent for families regardless of ages. We all felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kevin and Elaine kept us well informed and were excellent to deal with. We arrived late but our access went like clockwork and the keys were in the lock box as arranged. The on site staff made the stay very pleasant and would readily help out with giving local information to amenities and facilities available.

“An ideal waterfront setting and lovely condo”

The waterfront setting is ideal for those who like to sip tea or wine on the enclosed/private lanai (view best on second or third floors) or walk uncrowded beaches in either direction. We stayed in Unit 208 in Building A at Fisherman's Cove.This unit was very comfortable, with all the kitchen equipment you would need. There is a lot of storage in the unit. Beach toys and low beach chairs are available in the closet. Guests may use the charcoal bbqs behind the building set by the docks on the bay. The kingsize bed in the master was very comfortable. The bunkbed set up in the second bedroom may not suit everyone. There are two fold up roll away single cots. Very good quality towels were provided as well as professionally laundered bedding. The coin laundromat was only steps away (on each floor). Only three floors but an elevator was appreciated when moving lugguage or groceries.The grounds were beautifully kept. We love watching the water and it changed each day. We often saw a heron keeping the fishing people company. We even saw divers once or twice as well as surfers and beach walkers and joggers. When walking south from the condo, we came across kayers that beached their kayaks on the bay side and then walked over the dunes to the gulf side where we saw them. We even saw about a dozen kayaks in the bay behind the condo one evening after dark. There are several places to rent boats, bikes, etc.The famous white sand at the main Siesta Key beach was firm and a very wide beach with life guards. You can even rent a lounge and sun umbrella. (Go early to get your money's worth.) This beach also has the large parking lot, washrooms and snack bar. Expect it tio be croiwded and parking limited on hot days and during special events. This was our first trip to the Siesta Key area but we hope to return many times! We like to eat at waterfront restarants and we did so almost nightly. Be advised that you will need a car as most of these places were not on Siesta Key itself (except the near by Turtles on Little Sarasota Bay and Boatyard) but ranged from 15 to 40 minutes away (Santa Maria Island, to Venice) . Check out the Mote Aquarium's boat trips. We enjoyed an afternoon on board with a marine biologist and at the onland exhibits. Marina Jack in Sarasota is definitely worth one or two visits, for lunch, sailing excursions, walking in nearby parks. We happened to visit downtown Sarasota during the Chalk Festival. The art work on the closed street was very impressive. Like history? Plan a visit to Historic Spanish Point, off Hwy 41, and ask to join a guided tour,no extra charge. Six of us accompanied a guide on a very interesting and informative two hour walk of the grounds of Spanish Point. For shopping, the grocery store at Crescent Beach was handy. Go out to Hwy 41 and you will find all the big stores and coffee places...if you want that. Hwy 41 is a good road, wide in many parts, but like 'street anywhere'. We did like the fact that signs well back from the intersection provide the name of the street coming up at the lights. Davidson's Drugs near Crescent Grocery has two computers and printer for internet and boarding passes. Our condo rental was the perfect fit for us! It would be a good fit for adults or a family. There are many condos on Siesta Key and they may be on the beach but well back from the water's edge.

How do damage deposits work?
