“Fantastic Apartment in a Great little Town .”

Reviewed 7 Oct 2019

This place is absolutely spot on . Great location on the front ,the place its self is superb , clean, well furnished, and well looked after. The beds are so comfy . We were there during the recent spring tides (sept/oct 2019) and the view of the huge waves crashing over the road was fantastic . Sidmouth is a great little town and just right for a relaxing break ,with some great Pubs with very good food and real ale .It is also very handy for runs out to places like Dawlish ,Exmouth Lyme Regis ,Beer, Seaton ,and many other local villages .I would highly recommend The Lookout and we will return again sometime in the not too distant future hopefully . The owner Finbarr is a pleasure to deal with and very responsive to any queries you may have. Cannot praise this place enough .

“Lovely apartment and a cracking location”

Reviewed 16 Jun 2019

What better way to start the day and “lookout” at the sea , ever changing and crashing onto the beach, apartment has everything you need for a relaxing stay, a few minutes walk and your right in the centre of the town, or along the prom, or starting to walk the coast paths, plenty of options for eating out. A real treat !

“An absolute pleasure to stay here”

Reviewed 13 Jul 2013

I was slightly apprehensive as there were only two reviews, though both were excellent. However, as soon as we stepped into the apartment it was apparent there was no need to worry. It was very clean and was well equipped with everything we needed The beds were very comfortable and it has a large bath, a rarity these days'.The apartment is a minutes walk from the town and it overlooks the Esplanade. We would recommend The Anchor and ate there most evenings - it's just a few minutes walk and has a restaurant at the back for those, who like us, don't enjoy eating in a bar. I wish I hadn't discovered the Clock Tower Cafe in Connaught Gardens - the cakes were delicious and very reasonably priced but not good for the waistline! I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. We will definitely be returning.
