“Heaven on earth.”
Picture perfect veiws, absolutely beautifully serene and just the quiet, relaxing break we needed. Kate was a lovely host and our 11 year old had an amazing time with the animals on site. Grooming and feeding them. Definitely will be coming back.
Owner's reply: Thank you for your review and being such lovely guests. It was a pleasure to show your daughter round and she was very helpful feeding and grooming. The Ponies enjoyed the attention. Kate
What a wonderful place to stay Kate was a lovely host and could not be more helpfull even when things were changing within the booking the grandchildren loved the horses and the animals the environment was safe and secure so no worries about the kids although we only stayed a couple of days i could happily stayed more. Thank you Kate from us all and hope to see you in the future
Owner's reply: Thank you, I am glad you all enjoyed your stay and the animals. I hope you will come and stay again.
We stayed in 'The Summer' home a couple of weeks ago and loved it, would highly recommend it to anyone and look forward to going back. Kate is very welcoming and the touches of the cake and vase of fresh flowers is a simple but lovely touch, you really feel like you are on holiday as soon as you arrive on the drive. So quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The Summer is well appointed and comfortable and watching the nature as well as Kate's own live stock from our windows was a real treat, the outlook around the orchard and the paddocks is a delight. The overall location in the Kent region is excellent and central. Canterbury is close by and park n ride is easy, the other main towns around the coast are no more than 35 minutes away. Folkestone channel tunnel is very accessible from here for a day trip which was great too. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did, a hidden gem in the heart of Kent.
Owner's reply: I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again. Kate
“Perfect. Lovely setting, peaceful and comfortable accommadation.”
We had a wonderful week. Kate, the host, was friendly and helpful, with advise on the local area. She provided flowers, milk and a scrumptious jam sponge on arrival. The van was attractive, comfortable and well equipped, even a table, chairs and parasol on the decking area. There are sheep, pigs, chickens and horses on site which you can feed with the owner. The area is perfect for walkers and cyclists. We had some amazing and varied walks through beautiful woods and countryside with stunning views across Kent. Be prepared for some steep uphill climbs! Only 8 miles from Canterbury, Ashford and Caversham if you want to visit. We will definitely be staying again.
Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind review and I hope to see you again Kate
