"Great cottage for family and dogs"

Very comfortable and spacious, plenty of room for us our toddler and 2 labs gated garden made it worry free all round. Walking distance to three lovely pubs for food and co-op and park in Milton were an easy drive in 5 mins. Thanks!

"Relaxing and peaceful cottage - fabulous!"

I'm looking to book a late autumn break and happened to see a bad review for wychways cottage on this site. I stayed here earlier in the year and couldn't disagree more with the person who made all the negative comments. I rarely bother to write reviews, but felt I had to try and redress things. We had a wonderful time at wychways. It was clean and smart when we arrived. It's in a beautiful and peaceful location. You can walk to two nice pubs. The kitchen has everything you might need. The dining room table is fun to sit around. The living room is cosy. The bath is huge and wonderful for a nice relaxing soak. It even has a four poster bed! I would be delighted to stay here again. (And we didn't hear a dog bark once!)

"Do not go there, shabby DIY decor/fittings, neighbours dogs yap 24/7!"

OK on initial looks seems good, but closer inspection the place has been converted by DIY, should have been GSI, shower very dirty, felt cobwebs walking through lounge, kitchen utensils needed washing before use, initial smell was of wet dogs yuk!, threw out the door mat! Plumbing and electrics a bit iffy e.g light switches in wrong place, staircase build would not pass Planning Regs also Mezzanine floor upstairs suspect would not either! Good points nice front garden area sunny and garden furniture good, nice location, pub and hotel in village very good. Also it is on the cheap end, so guess you get what you pay for.
