Description

C'est La Vie Beach House is situated in one of the most exclusive suburbs, known as the ‘Clifton’ of KwaZulu-Natal - Sheffield Beach.

Sheffield Beach is a rather small beach compared to the others in the area, but it has some beautiful sheltered coves and superb rock pools which are well known for snorkeling and spear fishing (permit required).

This lovely beach situated just north of Salt Rock and only 10 minutes from Ballito, is one of the best places to enjoy a day in the sun. The rocks of Sheffield Beach give way to a perfect bathing area and the coastline offers some amazing sightings of dolphins, or whales during the whale season (August).

There are also excellent fishing (permit required) and diving spots at Christmas Bay, immediately north of Sheffield Beach.

C’est La Vie Beach House is situated one row back from the beach with a path directly in front of the house, leading to a private beach. It has an elevated 180 degree view of the Indian Ocean, which gives you amazing views from three of the bedrooms. The lounge and bar area have stacking doors, allowing sea views, even from the kitchen.

The house is self-catering and serviced daily on request.

This five-bedroom house is suitable for a family holiday, weekend getaways and corporate functions.

Bedroom 1 – Coquille: Queen Bed, shower and toilet. Opens onto a balcony with an incredible sea view.

Bedroom 2 – Marin: Queen Bed with sea view.

Room 3 – Papillon: Double Bed with sea view.

Room 4 – Coloré: Two Bunk Beds (4 beds) overlooking the back garden.

Room 5 – Nature: Double Bed. Opens onto the back garden.

Downstairs

Kitchen – Fully equipped. Built-in microwave, oven and coffee machine. Double door fridge with filtered water and ice maker. Gas hob.

Scullery – Recyling bins. Washer/Dryer. Dishwasher. Iron facility. Washing and ironing can be done on request at an extra fee.

Dining Room – 8 Seater dining room table.

Lounge – 6 Seater lounge suite. Flatscreen TV, DSTV (Explora), Home Theatre System and binoculars.

Bar area – 6 Seater bar. Bar fridge.

Patio – Two 8 seater outdoor table/bench. Built-in braai.

Enock our Housekeeper will greet you when you arrive. He will be available during your stay if you need any assistance. Cindy our Cleaning Specialist will come in every weekday at 9:00 during your stay to do the daily housekeeping. If you need any personal washing and/or ironing done, she will gladly assist at a daily fee of R300.

Enjoyed our stay with a number of friends. Beautiful, secluded beach nearby. Plenty of space and all the amenities you'd ever need.

This is one of the most safe and secure areas. Shops are close, food is easily accessible when on holiday. Clean beaches. Great privacy! The house is well kept and serviced daily for that amazing holiday feeling. Feels like a home away from home.

We had so much fun in this special home. Great location in tranquil Sheffield, short distance to the beach. The spacious living and entertainment area is beautifully renovated and has an unbelievable sea view. We saw whales and dolphins on our stay, clearly visible from the patio/bar area. Will be going back ASAP!
