Puerta de la Magdalena I is a spacious and bright one-bedroom apartment, perfect for a break with your partner. This perfect retreat preserves many of the neomudejar features of the original house, transporting guests straight into an Andalusian dream.

The carefully decorated apartment makes the most of the original building’s high ceilings and large windows and balconies, which bring in light and freshness, and highlights the architectural and decorative elements that make this property so special: elaborate mouldings on the ceilings; beautiful Andalusian tiles on the walls of the living area; a classical horseshoe arch leading into the bedroom; and floors paved in genuine cement tiles in pretty geometric patterns. The difference is in the detail, and certainly here the details are top quality, making for an exceptional property which the most discerning of travellers will appreciate.

The bedroom is equipped with a large king-size bed. The décor is stylish, with a spectacular quilted headboard wall. The glazed and wrought iron balcony is typically Sevillian and affords excellent views, a privilege especially during the Easter week for witnessing the processions in full detail.

The apartment has a comfortable and very bright sitting and TV area, as well as a modern kitchen, fully equipped with luxury fittings. The practical bathroom is likewise decorated in a stylish, contemporary minimalist tone.

The Puerta de la Magdalena apartments will delight the most discerning, exquisite and gourmand travellers, not only for their décor, comfort and features, but also for their unbeatable location, just five minutes from the city’s commercial arteries (marked by the Sierpes and Tetuán streets), the lively areas of Arenal and Triana –the city’s new culinary and nightlife hotspots–, and the most important museums and monuments of Seville.

There are two further apartments for rent in the same building, Puerta de la Magdalena Ático and Puerta de la Magdalena II, perfect if coming to Seville with friends or family!

Please note:

We love children and they are most welcome in 95% of our properties, but this apartment and the other two in the building have been reserved for "adults only" to enjoy a weekend away (or longer!). Absence makes the heart grow fonder, or so the saying goes...and who knows, perhaps the children also want a break from their parents!
