Description

A 19th century family cottage surrounded by a very flowery garden and rolling countryside.

The ground floor has the kitchen and a large dining room (with a piano that is reasonably in tune) and the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The first floor has a bright and spacious living room with an open fireplace, one bedroom with two single beds, and one with two single beds size pushed together into a super king size bed.

Plasma screen TV with DVD player and a classic DVD collection, including some for children.

We have all baby equipment: cot, playpen, highchair, bouncing chair, microwave oven, hand blender...

This is a family home rather than a formal rental property, so we hope guests will treat it like their own.

There is a taxi service in Tisbury, but generally you will need a car to get around.

The village of Semley is a 30 minute walk away. It has a shop, a church and a pub.

“Idyllic, elegant, relaxing English country weekend”

Dibbens is simply a beautiful cottage/house set in a beautiful part of the world. The house is very elegant and relaxing at the same time and the garden is a joy - and everything that should work does work.

On a rainy November weekend we were very lucky to stay at Dibben's cottage: However poor the weather was, we could still enjoy being in a charmful and cosy place! The kitchen was very well equiped for cooking and kids enjoyed the numerous games left by the owner. We also took the opportunity of a bright interval for local visits within walking distance, as well as a nice Sunday roast at the local pub. On a nice sunny day, I'm sure that a stay in the cottage's beautiful garden would have been a real delight... next time!

How do damage deposits work?
