Description

Welcome to Borelli 1.

This is our three bedroom caravan, which sleeps up to 8 people, situated on F Section of the White Horse site at Bunn Leisure in Selsey.

We first purchased Borelli 1 in 2012 so that we could take our dogs, Boris and Ellie, on holiday with us.

They thoroughly enjoy their long walks and swimming in the sea – we quite enjoy it too! The caravan is situated in a quiet location next to playing fields and is only a short walk from the main entertainment centre at the White Horse Village. You can take the courtesy bus or hop on the bunni train to move between the White Horse and West Sands resorts.Entertainment Passes can be purchased directly from reception at White Horse and provide access to all the entertainment facilities on site, which include kids clubs, amusement arcades, indoor and outdoor pools, spa and gym facilities, fun fair, go karting and evening entertainment which includes some big name artists such as Billy Ocean, Alexander O'Neill,

Further details indoors

Both of our caravans are situated in a quiet location next to playing fields and a short walk from the main entertainment centre at the White Horse Village. You can take the courtesy bus or hop on the bunni train to move between the White Horse and West Sands resorts.

The Borelli Van Mk1 sleeps up to 8 people with a double bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in each of the two other bedrooms and a double pull out sofa bed in the main living area. The property has a separate shower room and toilet to minimise those morning queues. This caravan has been recently refurbished and now has its own private veranda.

Borelli Van Mk2 is a 2 bedroom caravan that sleeps 6 with one double room, a twin room and a pull out sofa bed in the lounge. It also has its own private veranda.

We do provide duvets and pillows but would request that you bring your own, towels, sheets and duvet covers and pillow cases with you.

The caravan has the added benefit of a gas fire in the living area which leads into an open plan kitchen with oven, grill, microwave and gas hob as well as a full size fridge freezer. There is ample seating around the dining room table meaning you can eat in or if you prefer, you can eat out at one of the many restaurants or bars on site. If you fancy traditional fish and chips sitting on the sea front watching the sun go down, there is an onsite fish and chip shop too.

We now supply a travel cot, high chair, iron and ironing board in both caravans.

WIFI is available in the Viking and JB Sports Bar.

The caravans do not actually have central heating but do have a gas fire in the lounge as well as an oil filled radiator for use if preferred instead of the fire along with oil filled radiators in each bedroom.

For further information on all the activities available, please see www.borellicaravanselsey.co.uk

Further details outdoors

The England region

As a seaside town, Selsey offers everyone good beaches, clean water, wonderful seafood, excellent sea fishing opportunities and some of the best sunshine in the UK. You will notice that Selsey is a quiet place, not least because we don’t have any through traffic, everyone who is here is here because they want to be.

Chichester Harbour in Selsey is one of the few remaining undeveloped coastal areas in Southern England. Bright wide expanses and intricate creeks are at the same time a major wildlife haven and among some of Britain’s most popular boating waters. This unique area has quite rightly been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Backed by the South Downs, the harbour is a series of tidal inlets, with a narrow mouth to the sea. Wind-sculptured oaks and haw-thorns line the coast. Saltmarsh and mudflats are havens for thousands of birds. More than 7,500 Brent geese overwinter on the intertidal mud-land and adjacent farmland and more than 50,000 birds reside in or visit the Harbour throughout the year.

Boats of all shapes and sizes make up the 12,500 craft that regularly use the harbour. Competitive and even international racing takes place among the 14 sailing clubs. A number of public launching sites around the harbour make it accessible for everyone.

Picturesque creekside villages encircle the shoreline, which straddles the boundary of West Sussex and Hampshire counties. These range from the vibrant village of Emsworth, to the beautifully quiet hamlet of Prinsted.

Visitors to the harbour will enjoy the miles of well-sign posted footpaths. Alternatively you can see the harbour from the water by joining one of the organised boat trips. The Conservancy arranges a year-round programme of guided walks and activities with events for all ages and abilities.

Selsey

Bunn Leisure is in Selsey on the southern fringe of West Sussex. It is within easy walking distance of Selsey Village and its pubs and restaurants and the cathedral city of Chichester, dating back to Roman times, is less than ten miles away and definitely worth a visit.

If you want a day out there are a host of local attractions around Sussex and Hampshire including the picturesque market towns of Midhurst and Petworth. You could use Bunn Leisure as a base to visit the New Forest area with attractions such as the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Marwell Wildlife or hop on a ferry to the Isle of Wight or France is only a few hours ferry ride away, leaving from Portsmouth! .

West Sussex has been described as "retaining an aura of tranquillity and a sense of being away from the hustle and bustle of modern life". Iron Age hillforts on the South Downs are reminders of how people have relied on the chalk hills for their livelihood over the centuries and today, many visitors walk up onto the Downs to enjoy fantastic views. “Very comfortable with everything you need.”

Thank you Annelie for another lovely stay, perfect for everyone from Grandma to 1 year old. Great for the dogs too. Such a relaxing place with beautiful walks in a Nature reserve straight from the park. The caravan is very comfortable and has everything you need and Selsey is a very pretty village with some great shops and even a dog friendly vintage tea room. We will be back!

So glad you enjoyed your stay again Juliet :) Look forward to seeing you again soon

“Perfect for a weekend break.”

A lovely clean, well equipped caravan on the White Horse site run by Bunn Leisure. The caravan had 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and separate toilet which was useful as there were 5 of us. The kitchen was clean, with microwave, fridge-freezer, iron and plenty of cutlery and crockery. As it was only March it was pretty cold, but there were plug in radiators in each room as well as a gas fire in the lounge and the whole caravan heated up very quickly! I can't fault the caravan and had excellent correspondence from the owner and would definitely book it again. The site itself was very well kept and linked to 3 others. The indoor swimming complex and biggest entertainment centre were on white sands park, which a free bus did run to, but we enjoyed the 25 minute walk to it.. The swimming pool complex was lovely, with warm water, lazy river and sauna and steam room, again very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the evening entertainment and couldn't believe how busy it was for only March. We also enjoyed a pleasant walk to Selsey where we picked up a Chinese takeaway menu, which delivered direct to our caravan that evening. Perfect!!!! All in all I would definitely recommend both the caravan and the site for a short break. Thank you Annelie!!

“Peaceful break at Selsey”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2015

We stayed here Monday to Friday. A very clean caravan and extremely well equipped. The living area was very comfortable and kitchen also. However if we had come with other adults or even children we might have found it difficult with all the doors opening into bedrooms and toilet as there was not much room in the corridor outside of them. This is the only criticism but for two of us it was fine.

“Lovely caravan every thing there , nice campsite”

Reviewed 16 Jul 2014

We went in the caravan so we could go to Goodwood speed it was a good to say at. Near beach , there was entertainment on the site but did not have the time to go. But would like to go again as it was lovely to be their .

“Relaxing holiday”

Reviewed 16 Jul 2014

We were very pleased with the layout and condition of the caravan, it was very clean and comfortable . The site was very nicely laid out and everything you needed was close to you, It is an ideal base to visit places along the south coast. We would recommend Borelli 1 for a very relaxing holiday and we will book again next year.

“Comfortable, clean, family friendly accommodation”

Reviewed 6 Sep 2013

I stayed for the last week of the school holidays with my daughters and two young grandchildren. The caravan is in a great quiet location but with easy access to the many facilities available. As expected their was a lot of people on site, but we always found somewhere to sit in the showrooms and the swimming pool was not overcrowded. My grandchildren particularly liked all the swings and other outdoor toys, plus riding around on the train. The standard of food available in the restaurants is poor and I would recommend catering for yourself, which is easy enough to do with the big fridge/freezer and cooker - we took enough food for most days and the ability to park very near to the caravan made it easy to carry in provisions. I would recommend going to Selsey high street for afternoon tea as a treat though!

“Home from home. excellent.”

Reviewed 11 Jun 2013

The caravan was clean comfortable and spacious. Very reasonable rates with the choice to purchase club membership. The site is only a few mins away from Selsey where you can find a good range of shops and restaurants. My family and I look forward to booking again in the future. Highly recomended.

“Faultless, absolutely fabulous, will return in the future..”

Reviewed 30 Apr 2013

Lovely, immaculate, well planned out, well equipped caravan, we were totally comfortable. Loved the veranda and we spent so much time sitting on it in camping chairs watching the wildlife. Parking directly outside was useful. White horse village was quiet and we had a fab cooked breakfast most days from JB where the staff were very welcoming. Location was excellent, next to the playing fields, we either walked or drove down to the beach. Ideal base for visiting the area, we did Selsey and surrounding areas, Bosham, Chichester, Arundel... we would have stayed another week, it was great.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay in our three bedroom caravan, Borelli 1. I look forward to your return visit :-)

“well equipped clean and spacious on a good complex”
