The Scotland region

Cappercleuch is a small hamlet half way along St Marys Loch . Locally there is a pub serving food at the end of the Loch 1 1/2 miles , also a sailing club and fishing club ( boats and permits can be obtained ) . There is an abundance of walks and mountain biking a swell as road cycling within the area , really it's like the Lakes without the traffic and people !! . For the golfer there are around 10 courses in the area from the small to the lavish .

Selkirk

The Scottish Borders is full of fantastic places to visit - Melrose and it's Abbey , Kelso with it's famous River Tweed . Sir Walter Scott's house ' Abbotsford ' along with quaint Towns like Moffat & Peebles , also Edinbourgh is just over an hour away .
