Location description from owner

The Lazio region

Latium is the birthplace of the antique Etruscan civilization and afterwards of the great Roman Empire. It is a blend of different cultures that followed one to another and that can be discovered all over the region:Tarquinia with the Etruscan tombs and the National Etruscan Musem, Tivoli with the gorgeous Villa of Emperor Adriano, Viterbo the Pope town and excellent example of medieval architecture . Rome of course gathers all the different historical periods in the highest artistic expression. The climate is mild and allows to enjoy the different seasons in the best way. A car is highly reccomended and a detailed map or a GPS navigator will be of great help.Possible itineraries and more specific tips will be suggested on arrival.
