Outside

The best feature of this villa is the private and secluded forest setting. The terrace and pool border the pine forests of Seignosse Ocean, making this a very peaceful and relaxing spot.

A generous amount of space is given to outdoor living - 80m2 of covered terrace plus 130m2 of open terrace. Whether it's sunbathing or dining al-fresco, there is every opportunity to relax outdoors!

The covered terrace includes a summer kitchen complete with fridge, sink, plancha grill and dishwasher.

The pool is a good size and suitable for swimming lengths.

superb outdoor space including heated pool & summer kitchen

modern & 'uncluttered' interior

independent annexe bedroom suite

Suitability for:

Toddlers - heated pool. Choice of ocean and lagoon beaches.

Teenagers - Hossegor is cool! Enjoy great surf beaches.

Reduced mobility - ground floor bedrooms, level plot.

Anything to watch out for?

Upstairs bedrooms are more simple, best-suited to kids.

Why Seignosse/Hossegor?

An established surfing resort with a very 'cool' vibe. Great beaches, good shopping, a lovely lagoon and plenty of activities (surf, golf, tennis, cycling, sailing & more). There's also a wealth of restaurants (neighbouring Capbreton is best for seafood) and oysters are farmed in the lagoon - you can do tastings.

The Local Area:

Seignosse Ocean

Incorporates the fabulous beaches les Estagnots, Bourdaines and le Penon. It is mostly a residential area of holiday homes and apartments. Popular with surfers and families, the beaches are superb. There are seasonal shops, a bit of nightlife and a water park.

Golf de Seignosse

A water and forest monster of a course ranked in Continental Europe's Top 50! Very welcoming clubhouse with a restaurant and bar with fabulous views of the course from the terrace.

Hossegor and Capbreton

The local region of Sud Landes is typical Aquitaine - endless stretches of sandy eaches buffeted by the Atlantic ocean, vast pine forests punctuated by the occasional lake and criss-crossed by a network of cycle trails.

Capbreton and Hossegor are neighbouring seaside towns which between them offer an appealing contrast. Hossegor is the more famous, largely through its surfing pedigree. It's a feelgood place offering boutique shopping, great bars and restaurants, world-famous surfing beaches, casino, a lovely golf course and a beautiful lagoon for safe bathing and sailing.<

Capbreton lives in the shadow of Hossegor but it's the place the locals prefer for eating out and quieter beaches, fishing port and daily fish market. In fact, the town thrived in the 19th century as a whaling port and this sea-faring heritage is still very much apparent today. It also boasts a modern marina, a charming town centre and market and remains, admirably, something of a French (and Spanish) secret.

Seignosse

The villa's location is a real advantage. The environment is natural and peaceful; this is a quiet residential cul-de-sac with no traffic or people to disturb you. Bordered at the back by pine forest you feel in a little oasis. However, the sandy beaches of Seignossse Ocean are just 500m, Hossegor Lac Marine just 800m and the town centre of Hossegor is 3km - an easy cycle ride around the lake. There are local shops (mini-market, bakery, newsagent and the obligatory surf school) at 500m distance.
