Description

Courtyard cottage is a beautiful conversion of an old Breton Longere with an emphasis on quality, character and romance. Enter the cottage through a beautiful courtyard built out of the ruins of another longere and into luxury. The cottage features a stunning bedroom with a free standing double ended bath and a Juliet balcony that is reached by a spiral staircase, and en-suite bathroom with shower. The cottage has an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with a beautiful old wood stove for the winter. The kitchen is equipped with the newest and best of everything you will need for a self catering holiday. The lounge furniture is modern, comfortable and stylish with a DVD and CD player available.

Situated on the edge of a small village guests have the best of both worlds with peace and quiet as well as the ability to walk for your morning baguette or croissant. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in quality accommodation in a quiet and tranquil part of France then Courtyard is the place for you.

The cottage is a converted part of a traditional Breton longere (the remainder is unoccupied). It has beamed ceilings giving that traditional cottage feel but all the most modern amenities.

A rustic courtyard allows for outdoor dining in the summer. We provide a BBQ, garden table and easy chairs to make the most of the outside area in this cottage. Although the courtyard garden benefits from the sun during the day, the extended grounds offer plenty of opportunity to follow the sun during the day.

Interaction with guest

A short while before your stay you will be given details of the cottage address and key collection details. Our property managers will not disturb you during your stay and generally you will not hear from them or the owners whilst you are staying in the cottage. However, the property manager's phone numbers and email address are available to guests, should there be any need to get in touch with them during your stay. At the end of your stay, we simply ask you to lock up, leave the key and have a safe journey home.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
