''We had an amazing time and absolutely loved the villa. The villa was perfect and exactly what we were after. Very clean with everything we would need and a beautiful garden. The location was also nice and quiet but close enough to get to restaurants/shops. We recommend The Hillview restaurant and Vrakas Taverna. Yes excellent service from you as agents. Very prompt and informative. The people that came out locally were extremely helpful and polite and gave some really useful advice on restaurant recommendations and other helpful advice. Couldn’t ask for anything more..''

The Paphos District

Above Secret Valley itself, lies the road to the Troodos Mountains and Cedar Valley. The route is peppered with other small but charming villages along the way. There is an excellent highway which runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coast road is the most scenic route. A drive along here past various ancient sites such as Aphrodite's Birthplace and Temple, towards Limassol, taking in Curium, is delightful and is littered with the most beautiful views.

Paphos itself consists of two towns, each with its very own character. Ktima on the cliff (Upper Paphos) and Kato Paphos by the sea (Lower Paphos). One is virtually unchanged over the centuries and thoroughly Cypriot, while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour, into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort which is expanding and improving each year.

In Kato Paphos, (in the archaeological park), you will find many fine mosaics and buildings from Greek and Roman periods, plus the Harbour Castle. Close by, is the church of St Paul's Pillar, where the pillar St Paul was tied to can be found. Further down this road are the Tombs of the Kings and Christian Catacombs.

Going West from Paphos, there is Coral Bay with its European Blue Flag beach, then the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula, where there is then Lara Bay, (famous for turtles) and Latchi, famous for its seafront and harbour restaurants as well as the clean sandy beach and crystal clear waters.

Secret Valley Resort

Secret Valley, is a golf course situated in an amazing setting located by the renowned area of Petra tou Romiou;, the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of love. It is set in a scenic valley surrounded by mature trees and beautiful natural rock formations. In terms of sheer playability and enjoyment Secret Valley really is a must for golfing enthusiasts worldwide. The development is conveniently situated for visits to the islands other golf courses including Aphrodite Hills which is but 2 km away, the newly refurbished Minthi Hills (30 mins drive) and the nee Faldo designed course which is just 5km away. The popular villages of Pissouri and Kouklia are but a few minutes drive and the main towns of Paphos and Limassol can be reached in under half an hour. Local (not busy) Beaches can easily be reached at ‘Petra Tou Romiou’, Pissouri & Avdimou in one direction and Coral Bay and Lara in the other.

“Fabulous!”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2016

This villa is lovely, and we were delighted with our choice. We had two great weeks here with our two young boys and we didn't want to go home! The garden and pool really are as good as it looks in the photos, which was our main reason for choosing it... Simply stunning! The villa is set up in the hills in a private and peaceful location, it's contemporary, clean and fresh. Good sized bedrooms, with great views from the master bedroom out to the sea. It is well equipt, kitchen a bit small, but still ticked all the boxes. If you love being around the pool you'll find this perfect but if you are a beach lover the nearest ones are a little disappointing. There are some great restaurants all within around a 15-20 drive, and a small shop in nearby Aphrodite hills around 5 mins drive. Nearest supermarket 20 minutes away on the outskirts of Paphos which sells absolutely everything. We would definately love to stay at this villa again, and would highly recommend to families or we would even stay here as a couple.

“Well appointed golf villa, maximum quiet and privacy”

Reviewed 6 Aug 2011

Family of 4. We stayed one week in July 2011 at the height of the summer heat. We enjoyed golf in the early morning hours. Followed by tours of Paphos, Pissouri, Aphrodite Beach, Paphos forest, Kourion,Troodos and nearby beaches and lunch. Afternoons the children enjoyed the pool while Mum and Dad had a rest before evening outings or stay-in barbeque by the pool and garden. Very quiet, loads of privacy. Villa had everything we needed and was tastefully furnished and laid out.
