Very Good

“Excellent Villa”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2017

We recently stayed at Villa ALEXIA. The villa is probably the most equiped villa that we have ever stayed at. The whole process was clear and made easy by the owners and Kathy and Bill who took care of us whilst in Cyprus. My only negative is that the air con can only be set for a maximum of 2 hours at a time. This meant sleepless night due to waking up sweating and having to turn the air con back on. All in all a very good option

“Wow a fantastic family friendly villa”

Reviewed 4 Sep 2013

From the moment of making my enquiry with Ellie (owner) what a great experience. Ellie is so organised, I felt like I knew her personally. The villa is fantastic, so clean, spacious, a brilliant pool and garden and so family friendly. I have a 12 year old son, he found loads to do, DVD's, games and the best of all, internet access which was great for him and a must for us. I must mention Bill and Kath who manage the villa on Ellie and Ian's behalf, they work so hard, the villa was perfect when we arrived, they work so hard and deserve a medal for the work that they do. The only negative for me is that the villa is already booked for August 2014 and I so desparately want to go back. Would highly recommend. Thank you Ian, Ellie, Bill and Kath for making our holiday so great. We will be back.

“Villa Alexia - great villa, great location, for a relaxing holiday for couples, families and large groups book now!”

Reviewed 28 Jun 2013

Villa Alexia is a large well equipped house, it is a "home from home" excellent for couples, families with small children or larger groups. The outside space is second to none, a beautiful well stocked and maintained garden and a private swimming pool, with plenty of sun loungers and tables on the patio to allow sitting outside to eat. The location on Secret Valley is excellent and it is not far from the beaches and Paphos if you want more touristy bars and restaurants. There are plenty of local tavernas and in Mandria you can get the best fish and chips on the Island. We would recommend this villa to anyone. The owners ensure that you have a great holiday and nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed here a couple of times and we would not hesitate in booking this property again.

“Can't wait to go back again.”

We found the Villa Alexia the perfect location for a relaxing family holiday. The villa itself was immaculate and everything one could wish for was avilable in the property, including a library of books, satellite TV, wy-fy and childrens toys etc. The private pool and barbecue provide the perfect location for an evening chill-out. Bill and Kathy who provide on site support make sure that your stay is comfortable and stress free. The location, half way between Pafos and Pissouri is ideal. Our next stay at the villa is already booked, roll on April.

“Fabulous ... didn't want to leave!”

Stayed at Villa Alexia 10th – 17th October 2012. On arrival we were greeted by Bill who, along with his Wife Kathy, look after the villa for the UK owners. Bill and Kathy are a fab couple and always on hand to assist in any way they can. LOCATION: Easy 15 minutes’ drive from Paphos airport. The villa is located in a well maintained, residential area; about 2 minutes’ drive to Secret Valley Golf Club/ 5 minutes’ drive to Aphrodite Hills Golf Club/Aphrodite Hills village square (with nice restaurants) and just minutes from Aphrodite’s Rock. Approx. 15 minutes’ drive to Paphos centre/Kato Paphos. Note: Car hire is essential but roads are very easy and well signed - so no problem at all (it’s just like driving in the UK). VILLA ALEXIA: Excellent! INSIDE it is clean, spacious and modern – well designed open plan kitchen, lounge and dining space to the ground floor which works brilliantly. Air con is great. Sky TV and a vast selection of DVD’s (for children and adults). Great selection of books to borrow on the first floor – we took our own books and left them when finished to add to the collection. We enjoyed the sea view from the first floor master bedroom balcony. OUTSIDE: Lovely private large garden (villas are adjacent but Alexia remains private), pool was good size too. We enjoyed lunches on the patio/terrace. BBQ available. The whole outside space is a great sun trap, literally all day! (but plenty of shade when you want it). Tip: A fabulous ice cream van stops on the road across from the villa every afternoon about 2.30pm! Large Supermarket 5 minutes’ drive away (on the way to Pissouri) with petrol station across the road. Lovely selection of fresh veg and breads. We did a ‘big shop’ on arrival and just topped up when needed (normally to replenish wine!). OUT AND ABOUT: We enjoyed a lovely meal at Gabriels in Kouklia; lovely relaxed atmosphere with great food and drink – excellent value at 40 Euro including food/wine/beer and some local tipple which was amazingly strong! Kouklia, just 5 minutes’ drive away, is a sweet little village having just a couple of shops, small supermarket, church and handful of eateries. We loved also the Fish and Chip shop in Mandria (it’s not to be missed; portions are huge and the fish is the best ever! Take Away available too.) Mandria is also only just down the road, again small village with just a handful of shops and eateries, and a beach – a little more commercialised than Kouklia, but nice. We ate also at the Italian restaurant at Aphrodite Hills Village Square – slightly more expensive but lovely outdoor setting and food was beautiful. Upstairs bar is good afterwards for drinks. We enjoyed afternoon at Pissouri too – this is about 15 minutes’ drive up a steep hill (view back down the hill is great) the village itself has lots of winding streets filled with nice traditional restaurants, pubs, little bars. We followed signs for Pissouri beach and it turned out to be a good 10 minutes’ drive away from the village! This was our first visit to Cyprus and we loved it. We are so glad that we stayed at Villa Alexia as it made our holiday everything we wanted it to be. Only one negative …. we only booked the villa for one week - which just wasn’t enough!! From the point we booked with the owners (Ellie and Ian) we had excellent communication via email and any questions we had prior to arriving were answered immediately by either Ellie or Kathy. Superb, friendly service from all! We had a good walk around the lovely estate one afternoon to have a nosey at other villas and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND VILLA ALEXIA. If you book any other villa on Secret Valley in this price bracket – we feel you will be missing out!

“Everything we could have wished for, in one place!”

We've just returned from a weeks holiday in villa Alexia. The villa is beautiful. We had ample amount of space (much more than we needed) and the outdoor area was absolutely lovely which is where we spent most of our days. The landscaped gardens are lovely, the BBQ is huge, the pool just perfect, and ample amounts of seating and sunbeds! The local area is lovely, especially a small village called Pissouri and Pissouri bay. Kathy and Bill who maintain the property are so welcoming and helpful and recommended a wonderful restaurant in Pissouri Bay called Liminaki. Well worth a visit but book before you go as they are always fully booked. All in all I didn't want to leave Cyprus, the weather, the Villa, the area, just perfect. Thank you Ellie & Ian for letting us stay in your wonderful villa. We will be returning in the future!

“Wonderful Villa in superb quiet location close (by car) to ammeneties & resturants”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2012

Villa Alexia is perfect for families even young children. We are a family of 5. Children aged 16, 13 & 3 years old. Perfectly safe providing normal common sense regarding 3 year old. He also enjoyed the toys kindly supplied by the owners. The pool suited all of us and the child friendly steps into the pool at the shallow end meant he could safely enter & exit pool. The whole Villa, pool and gardens are beautifully maintained and presented at high quality providing a pleasent, relaxing and ambient atmosphere. Internet access was extremely useful for our teenage children. We also enjoyed the selection of dvd`s provided for fun family evening entertainment. I enjoyed using the purpose built BBQ and cooked a great selection of grub provided by the butcher at the local supermarket. A car is essential for access to local shops & resturants. I would certainly recommend this Viila to any family and wouldn`t hesitate to rebook. The owners and people who look after the Villa are extremely friendly and helpful. The information pack, books and local leaflets at the villa are a great resource. Thank you for sucha wonderful holiday.

“Everything was just perfect!”

We have just returned from our third visit to the lovely Villa Alexia. Once again we have had a wonderful relaxing family holiday. Everything was just perfect. The villa, garden and pool are all maintained to a very high standard. The villa is spacious and very well equipped. The garden is beautiful and private. The pool is a good size and clean. The location is great. The villa offers a peaceful retreat in which to unwind but is within easy reach of the local villages, beaches, places of interest, golf courses, Paphos and the airport. A hire car is essential but the driving is easy on the local roads. The owners Ellie and Ian and Kathy and Bill who look after the villa are always friendly, efficient and helpful. We can recommend Villa Alexia to anyone. Our children have asked if we can book the villa again and I am sure we will!

“Lovely holiday with a touch of luxury ”

Reviewed 25 Mar 2012

Cyprus was a lovely place to stay, especially in the secret valley. The people are so friendly and helpful everywhere you go. Villa Alexia is stunning. So comfortable to stay there, having a 3yr old with us was no problem due to the abundance of things there to entertain him. Indoor toys, outside toys, DVDs were such a bonus. The roman steps to the pool were a great feature because as the pool was a little too cold to swim in, we could still sit on the side and paddle feet on the steps, which my son loved! Plenty of water toys kept him entertained too. Such a spacious villa with everything you need from extra quilts and pillows to cooking ingredients in the cupboard! Absolutely everything is catered for. Our holiday would have been perfect if we had perhaps gone a little later in the month, our first couple of days were cold and there was a little trouble with the heating , however, Bill was round in minutes to help us. Once the weather warmed up it was lovely. There are plenty of bars resteraunts and tavernas to visit, in particular we were extended an extremely warm welcome in Martellis ans San Marino on the tomb of the kings road in Pafos. Children are made such a fuss of and are so warmly welcomed. The grounds of the villa are beautiful too, pleasant gardens and a stunning sea view every morning to wake up to. The time of year we went meant that we were not overlooked but in the busier times it would not offer much privacy, however not really much of a problem at all. Overall this was an excellent villa, the time of year was the only downside we experienced due to it being a little chilly at first. The only addition I would recommend would be perhaps a selection of CDs to chill out to and maybe a way of listening to them by the pool. Stayed in another villa with this facility and it was heaven. A huge plus has been the communication from Ellie who owns the Vila. Her communication and customer care have been second to none. She has been so very helpful and attentive to us, which has added even more to our pleasant holiday experience. A huge thank you for a wonderful stay, we would definitely consider returning again.
