From secluded coves and wide expanses of sandy beaches it's not just the stunning landscapes that attract visitors to the Island, but the variety of things to see and do. Rich in a wide variety of sporting and leisure activities as well rich in history and heritage, visitors return year after year to enjoy another holiday with Home from Home Holidays. Seaview

Situated on the North-Eastern corner of the Isle of Wight is the village of Seaview, which is an attractive area very popular with tourists. It is home to a few shops, restaurants, bars and an art gallery. A couple of pubs and an amazing beach are within walking distance. Nearby Bembridge is home to a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and the National Trust Windmill; the only one to survive on the Island. The beach here is perfect for crabbing with its many rock pools at low tide. St Helens, with it's friendly village green, lies in a coastal position between Bembridge and Seaview. A short walk down to The Duver, will present you with stunning views of the Solent and St. Helens Fort. Ryde is the gateway to the Island, where the catamaran from Portsmouth docks at the end of the pier and a connecting train can take you as far as Shanklin through Brading, Lake and Sandown. The town is packed with pubs, restaurants and shops and has miles of sweeping golden sandy beaches. A level walk runs along the esplanade to Appley Tower and Puckpool Park, passing the boating lake, ice rink, ten-pin bowling, swimming pool, fairground, cafes, gardens and children's play area.
