St. Cuthbert's Cottage, Seahouses is a beautifully refurbished traditional cottage conveniently located on the main street in Seahouses village, close to the bustling harbour and golden, sandy beach, as well as the many popular attractions, shops, bars and restaurants this popular seaside resort has to offer. Book your boat trip to The Farne Islands, walk along the coastal path or drive the short distance to neighbouring Bamburgh village with its splendid castle looming large over the village green, browse in the shops and dine in the wonderful restaurants. To the south on the coastal path you will find beautiful Beadnell Bay where you can picnic in the dunes and watch the water sports and kite flying. For golfers - Seahouses golf course is a friendly place with panoramic sea views and open to visitors all year round if you like the idea of bringing your clubs with you too.

You can relax in comfort after your days' out in front of the new log burning stove and while the cottage has retained much of its original, traditional cottage charm, you can now enjoy all the modern comforts of home including free guest Wi-Fi, a fully equipped modern kitchen, and an efficient heating system.

Outside, there is off road parking for one car (additional parking is available in Seahouses' main paying car park) and a small patio area for al fresco dining.

St Cuthbert's Cottage welcomes one well behaved dog.

Entrance/Boot Room: You enter the cottage from the boot room at the rear of the property and there is a modern downstairs cloakroom/WC off this room.

Kitchen/dining area: Lovely new, modern facilities including, fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, 4-slice toaster, kettle and cafetiere. Dining table with seating for 6 guests, two seater sofa for re;axing infront of the feature fireplace with a cosy log burner, i-pod docking station, CD/Radio, storage heater and electric ceiling heating,

Lounge: Two comfortable sofas, occasional tables and lamps, flatscreen TV with Freeview, a DVD Player and a selection of DVDs, feature fireplace with log burning stove and wood flooring.

Upstairs

Bedroom 1 - With double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, a built-in wardrobe with full length mirror, chest of drawers and radio.

Bedroom 2 - Double bed with bedside table and lamp, large chest of drawers.

Family bathroom: Beautifully tiled floor, electric shower over 'D' shaped bath, wash basin with mirror over, heated towel rail and WC.

Outside: St. Cuthbert’s Cottage has a small private area for off road parking for one vehicle (NB not suitable for large, 4x4 type cars) and a small patio area with a table and chairs for relaxing outdoors during the summer months.

One well behaved dog is welcome downstairs at this property.

Bed linen and towels, heating, electrics and hot water are included in the price.

Seahouses

Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street. The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart's School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
