Very Good

“Lovely stay”

Reviewed 25 Apr 2018

The cottage was very well fitted out and cosy. It was also positioned really well to discover this stunning part of England.

“Pick better weather, but stay with this accommodation”

Reviewed 10 Apr 2018

This was an Easter break for my wife and I and another married couple. The weather was appalling for all but one day. The weather was mitigated by this lovely accommodation which was probably the best equipped cottage we've ever hired. It was lovely and warm and we had everything we needed to be very comfortable whilst we exercised our kidneys and livers! Walking into Seahouses was a little further than we had realised, but is a reasonable walk which gives an appetite and thirst in one direction and helps with digestion and head clearing in the other. There is little I can add to other 5* reviews. Sarah is a delight to contact and responds very quickly to any queries regarding 'The Old Granny' ;o) PS Do believe the caution regarding the en-suite shower as it really is one that Warwick Davis would relish - that said, hot water is plentiful as that shower is electric and has an adequate flow rate. So all in all, a big thank you. A lot of care and attention have been lavished on this property.

“Old granary seahouses”

Reviewed 26 Dec 2017

We stayed over Christmas and was not disappointed. On arrival there was a lovely gift bag left for us and even some treats for our dog. The cottage was just as described, kitchen was fully equipped, the living room had a lovely Christmas tree. The cottage is lovely, so quirky with the building shape and clean. Sarah couldn’t have been more helpful on the run up to our stay. We had a lovely time and couldn’t recommend the cottage and Sarah enough. Thank you

“A lovely comfortable cottage with everything on your doorstep”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2017

Excellent location in seahouses, with Bamburgh, Beadnell, Craster within easy reach. Lots of lovely walks on the beaches with plenty places to eat allowing dogs. Particularly enjoyed low Newton with the ship in which enjoys sea views. The cottage had everything we needed and was like home from home.

“Great visit!”

Wonderful holiday home, cosy and well equipped - great base for exploring the surrounding area. Off road parking. We had a great time with our 2 year old :)

“Home from Home”

Very comfortable accommodation suited to couples and young families. Quiet area away from the busy harbour.
