The Paphos District
In antiquity Paphos - or as the locals spell it - Pafos - was the centre of the cult of Aphrodite and is today a bustling holiday resort.
Paphos is in two parts, 'Ktima Paphos' being the upper area and the true town centre; 'Kato Paphos' being the lower area by the beach and harbour and the place the tourists come for. It combines a pleasant harbour and medieval fort, historical sites and spectacular countryside.
Paphos was the capital of Cyprus for 600 years in ancient times and its archaeological legacy is such that UNESCO put the whole town on its World Cultural Heritage List.
Things to check out in Paphos while youâ??re enjoying your holiday in Cyprus include:
Paphos Castle and the harbour in Kato Paphos
Paphos Archaeological Park in Kato Paphos
Tombs of the Kings on Tombs of the Kings Road in Paphos
The Municipal Market in Ktima Paphos
There are restaurants and bars to suit every budget in Paphos. By night Kato Paphos buzzes â?? the famous Bar Street being a mecca for party animals!
There's lots to see and do in Paphos - by day and by night. Ponder the long history or go wild on Bar Street - with everything else in between.
Sea Caves is a part of Peyia on the rugged coastline north of Coral Bay. Itâ??s an easy drive into either Coral Bay or Peyia itself to pick up essentials, with Paphos being about 18km away. The beaches at Coral Bay are about five minutes away by car.
Sea Caves is quiet and rural. Enjoy an evening walk along the cliffs, watching the sun set in the west. The coastline is dramatic, being formed into rocky outcrops and natural caves. Perfect to unwind away from it all.
All Rent Villas Paphos villas in Sea Caves have private pools and great views of the sea for you to enjoy.
If youâ??ve rented a car, Sea Caves is a great base to explore the Cypriot countryside. Itâ??s about 18km to Paphos, about 12km to the Akamas and about 25km to Polis.

"Home from home but with better weather!!!"
Fabulous villa, ideally located!! We absolutely love holidaying at this villa, its immaculate, deceptively spacious and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoy the pool and chilling on an evening on the spacious patio area - lovely cool breeze coming off the sea! You definitely need a car there is lots to see and do but on the other hand if you fancy a walk, there are some lovely local bars and restuarants to sample. We have no hesitation recommending this Villa to friends and family and will be returning time and time again!!
