For those who care about keeping in shape, there are golf bags for guests, jumping net, tatami mat;

also the horse back riding place PRIMEROSE is near the town of Donnafugata, just about half hour away.

The city of Scicli is located at the junction of three valleys, with houses on all sides on to the cliffs, a large square in the bottom horse of a torrent, and the ancient ecclesiastical buildings that crown in several places, such as baroque acropolis, the semi-circle altitudes etc. ' Scicli is 24 kilometers from Ragusa. Its territory stretches from the sea to the southern reaches of the hyblean plateau. The landscapes are very varied: it goes from the coast (alternating between the low and sandy limestone cliffs modest) covered by the Mediterranean to the gentle slopes of alluvial hinterland with olive, almond and Trotta, perdifumo trees until you get to the limestone hills of the northern and inside which stands the capital. The district is crossed by several rivers which are torrential and almost all seasonal; other major streams intercept the center of Scicli and Modica are. In each stream these millennia has carved out deep gorges in the plateau that characterize the landscape. The modern town lies in the valley where three canyons converge.

' It's the most beautiful city we have ever seen. More of Piazza Armerina. More from Caltagirone. More of Ragusa, and most of Nicosia, and most of Enna. More and more of Moderate Freezes and. .. Perhaps the most beautiful of all cities in the world. And people are happy in cities that are beautiful ... ' (Writer Elio Vittorini) Sicilian cuisine is a riot of flavors and colors of the Mediterranean. Oranges and lemons from the inimitable scent, the sun-ripened tomatoes of Pachino, purple eggplant and zucchini crisp, small silver anchovies, precious bluefin tuna and swordfish from the pink meat, cheeses, such as Caciocavallo and Ragusa, tasty capers Pantelleria and bright green pistachios are the ingredients of excellent great recipes. Those who approach for the first time in Sicilian cuisine can not overlook some of the dishes: the fritters made with chickpea flour, the rice balls, the swordfish rolls caponata, pasta alla Norma with eggplant parmigiana, not to mention the surprising cùscusu Trapanese, demonstrating that the couscous has its own version made in Italy. Refer sweet, finally, is titanic: cassata, cannoli, cold coffee is only the beginning of a long and delicious way to paradise pastry.
