From the owner

Casa di Pepe is in a quiet holiday park, 4km from Scalea and 1km from Santa Maria Del Cedro. With 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed it comfortably sleeps 6 adults. The park is children friendly and safe with secure parking. In the garden there is a large bbq where you can cook and enjoy those relaxing moments after a day on the beach.

I can prepare a nice packed lunch for you if you want to spend the day on the beach or explore the wonderful sites of Calabria. You might like to join me for a drink in my conservatory bar, Bar di Pepe, while listening to your favourite music.

Sunsets are beautiful here whether on the beach or on my rooftop terrace which you can have access to through my house.

I’m very surprised at such a negative review,especially since it’s in direct contradiction to any review I’ve received up until now. First of all, I’d like to apologise if you had a bad experience in my apartment, I only wish you had shared your grievances with me during your stay instead of waiting until you were leaving. It is impossible for me to try to accommodate my guests if they do not communicate their complaints with me, which is unfortunately what has happened in this instance. As such, there is very little I can do other than apologise and offer my assurance that I clean my place from top to bottom after every guest, ensuring it is spotless and fresh-smelling. As the apartment is situated in a holiday park in a hot country there isn’t much I can do about the ants outside, however I regularly use powder and spray inside to ensure they are not a problem indoors. You are fully entitled to your opinion but when your opinion is very economical with the truth, then I’m fully entitled to defend myself; the place is clean, there is no smell and there are not spiders and ants everywhere.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Michael (the owner) a message.

If Michael (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
