Come and stay in our charming large farmhouse, which has been painstakingly and sympathetically restored over recent years without losing any of it's character.
The farmhouse offers spacious accommodation for large or extended families, groups of friends or just like minded people ( artist, photographers or cyclist )
With 4 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms/shower rooms ( one of which is on the ground floor ) making it ideal for the older guest, with separate dining room, living room and large well equipped kitchen.
All rooms have exposed wooden beams and mellow yellow stone walls which lends itself to a warm and welcoming Gite.
All this is set in a partly stone walled garden with private pool, gas bar-b-que and eating area looking out across the fields with sun loungers finishing off the picture. A must for anyone looking for a relaxing friendly holiday.
Located in a quite picturesque setting but only 8 mins from a town for all your daily requirements.

The ground floor has a very large kitchen with separate dinning room, large lounge, bedroom, shower room and a vaulted sitting area. All the walls are mellow yellow stone which makes the house nice and cool in the summer months. The well equipped kitchen and dinning room both have large stone fireplaces one with a free standing wood burning fire. The first basket of logs supplied, extra logs at cost. May to Sept rates do not include central heating. The kitchen is fitted with hand crafted solid wood units. There are lots of little nooks and crannies that give the house lots of charm. The vaulted sitting area is one of my favourite places to sit.
The ground floor bedroom has two single beds with enough space that another single could be added if you need that extra bed.
Both the kitchen and lounge doors open onto your own garden which will have a gas bar-b-que and dinning area, the above ground swimming pool and sun lounge area. With views looking past the owners house onto the fields beyond.
Hand built solid wood staircase leading from the vaulted back room leads to the three double bedrooms on the first floor.
Master Bedroom with king size bed, walk in wardrobe and Jack and Jill bathroom. Large beams and stone walls. A lovely large window with views across the fields.

"A lovely relaxing holiday with loads of space for the kids"
My wife and I stayed with 3 kids for a week in August 2012 and really loved it here. Sue and Andy made us feel really welcome but left us alone to enjoy the space, the pool, the barbecue and the ambience. The kids absolutely loved it - they thought that we were staying in a castle and wanted to be in the pool and have barbecues every day so that's what we did! The house was spotless and had everything we needed - would thoroughly recommend it!

"Totally Exceeded Our Expectations!"
I speak on behalf of our family party of 8 who were fortunate enough to spend a blissful week in this stunning, spacious house & setting. Our hosts were superb. They were friendly, helpful but let us get on with enjoying our stay to the max! We ventured to the Puy du Fou, Vallee des Singes & Confolens but to be honest we could have spent the whole time based at the farmhouse with never a dull moment. Eating al fresco, playing sports, swimming, chilling. An ideal spot for walking, cycling too. It would be perfect for children of all ages with extra beds & a beautiful cot available. Plenty of rooms to allow holiday-makers of all ages time & space on their own if needed. A fabulous place to come back to and we were all sad to leave. Would recommend to anyone. Only one regret.........needed another 2 weeks! Thanks to Sue & family for being such stars!
