Ski Apartments in an excellent position in the centre of Sauze. Located just 100m from the town centre and just 300m from the Clotes ski lift, close to shops, restaurants and bars. The apartments have a large balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the panoramic views over the valley. There are a ski deposit on the ground floor and a lift to all floors. There is a garage available for an extra charge. For those that don't like a walk the free ski shuttle bus stops right outside the building.

Accommodation - Sleeps 6 in 2 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms with double/twin bed, living room with 1 double sofabed (made up as sofa), TV, kitchen, bathroom, balcony. There is a lift to all floors, a ski box available for your equipment and a garage for your car. The apartments have recently been refurbished and full facilities are provided. They also have a large balcony with excellent panoramic views over the valley

Compulsory charges - Refundable security deposit €200, kitchen cleaning (unless you do it yourselves before departure) €80, tourist tax €0.50 per person over 16 years old per day.

Optional extras - towels €5 per extra set, cots, linen included €20/week, covered parking €5/day, €30/week (excluding 22/12 to 06/01 which is €90), entrance to Besson spa €15 per person and 20% discount on treatments, keys €10 for every extra set

Minimum stay 7 days. changeover days are Saturday to Saturday in peak season but are flexible in low season.

Final Cleaning, Utilities, bed linen included. On request: towels 5euro per person per change. Tourist tax: may be charged in resort and is approximately 1.50euro per person per day. This is to be paid in cash. This is a tax imposed by the local government.

The Piedmont region

Sauze is an excellent value, big and fun resort with extensive slopes and access to the Milky Way terrain. The resort sits on a mountain shelf with impressive views of the towering mountains. Boarders will enjoy the big open pistes and intermediates are spoilt for choice with access to over 400km of runs.

The resort is lively at night with plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs. There is also an attractive and quieter old part with narrow streets, quaint properties and good restaurants.

In addition to skiing, Sauze does have many off-piste activities include a snow park, ice-skating, bowling, cinema, and saunas. The resort is family friendly.

Sauze d'Oulx

The resort is lively at night with plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs. There is also an attractive and quieter old part with narrow streets, quaint properties and good restaurants.
In addition to skiing, Sauze does have many off-piste activities include a snow park, ice-skating, bowling, cinema, and saunas. The resort is family friendly.

Reccommended Restaurants
Spaghetti House / Sugo’s – reasonable and good food on Via Assietta with pasta served in Pans. (Reasonable)

The Village – at the bottom of the Clotes lift, a lively and fun restaurant with main menu and pizzas. Good for groups as well. (Mid Priced)

Del Borgo – a quaint restaurantand pizzeria on Via Assietta. (Mid Priced)

Del Falco – A good restaurant with a varied menu. Via Assietta. (Mid priced)

Il Cantun – wonderful food, a set menu of regional dishes. Half way downVia Assietta on the left, a little hidden. (Mid – expensive)

Etoiles Des Neiges – in Jouvenceaux. Great little restaurant and pizzeria just a few metres from the Jouvenceaux lift. (Very reasonable).

Reccommended Bars & Nightlife

Apres-ski:

Miravillino on Via Assietta opposite the supermarket is a good place to relax.

Assietta Bar in Piazza Assietta has been refurbished this season and is a great Italian bar.

The Lounge offers great early drink prices, smart, modern

Later:

Derby Bar; relaxing lounge bar, younger clientele

Osteria di Vagabondi; great live music venue, very busy, varied clientele

Hotel Besson; great alpine bar in a hotel; upmarket and quieter

Bandito’s; just up from the Clotes lift opposite the car park, stylish and trendy large Club

Schuss Club; small and cheap club under Miravillino, mainly younger crowd
