Pembrokeshire has the most Blue Flag beaches in Wales. The Coast Path is 186 miles long and is in Britain's only coastal National Park.

The County has so much to offer, it is rich in history - with six castles to visit. Pembrokeshire is increasingly becoming a destination for elite sporting competitions, Iron Man wales takes place in September. Caban Bach is on the Ironman cycle route and affords easy access to the route and to the sea for training. We can offer secure storage for bikes and equipment.

The departure point for Skomer Island is just over an hour away. This island wildlife haven is so worth a visit to see the colonies of Puffins, Razorbills, Guillemots and Manx Shearwaters.

Pembrokeshire is rewarding at any time of year, whether you like the warmer summer months when the campion and bluebell are in full flower and you can sit on a sunny terrace enjoying Caldey lobster or prefer to walk a deserted beach with a wild westerly blowing through your hair, followed by a rewarding pint in a cosy, real-fire pub, the choice is yours!

Saundersfoot

Saundersfoot has a good variety of shops and restaurants. The new Coast restaurant at Coppet Hall has incredible views out towards Monkstone Point and has just been awarded 2 AA Rosettes. Within just a few minutes walk is the Glen Beach, which is just idyllic when the tide is up for a late afternoon swim. Monkstone Beach is just over a mile away, access is possible on foot via the Coast Path and the beach in Saundersfoot holds the prestigious Blue Flag award.

The historical town of Tenby is just three miles away, easily accessible by bus. Trips to the ancient monastic Caldey Island run from Tenby.

In inclement weather, Narberth is just five miles away with its antique stores, restaurants (Spanish deli Ultracomida definitely worth a visit) and quirky shops.

Our guests also have use of the indoor pool, sauna and steamroom at Swallow Tree, just ten minutes walk away or a few minutes by car.
