Description

With Saundersfoot beach literally around the corner you have everything you need for the perfect day. In the early morning light take the kayak and paddle to Monkstone point or one of the nearby beaches. Cast out a line and catch some mackeral whilst you take in the glorious surroundings.
Enjoy the afternoon sun on the deck overlooking the sea, or, if the weather is a bit nippy – sit in the garden house with a warm cup of tea taking in the views. Later that evening, BBQ your catch and sit under the heater until the sun goes down and the moon shines high in the sky. If you want to deeply relax, sit in the penetrating warmth of the sauna and let go of it all ! This is why you came on holiday.

Location description from owner

The Wales region

Pembrokeshire is home to Britain's only truly coastal National Park and contains a wide variety of beaches. There are more Blue Flag and Green Coast beaches than any other county in the country. Most beaches are easy to reach and ideal for families, others less accessible offer peace and seclusion.

Most provide good swimming and many lend themselves to plenty of other activities too, such as water sports, beach games, rock-pooling or just taking it easy in the sun.

Saundersfoot

We are located within the small coastal village of Saundersfoot, 5 miles from Tenby. Everything you need for a lovely family holiday is here. Restaurants, convenience stores, pubs, shops, a lively harbour, and gorgeous beaches.

If you fancy a day out you will find yourself surrounded by 186 miles of coastal paths that dip in and out of pristine beaches and quaint towns. You can discover the medieval walled towns of Tenby or Pembroke Dock or explore the nearby castles. There are over 50 beaches in Pembrokeshire - so kayaking, surfing, or just having a paddle is at your doorstep. If you love wildlife, it is here in abundance.

A boat trip around Ramsey Island is a real adventure - where you are likely to see dolphins, or Sun Fish, and a plethora of bird life is guaranteed. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is simply a breathtaking experience.

“Comfortable and quirky”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2013

Well appointed accommodation and facilities. Interesting décor based on an Indonesian/Asian theme. Comfortable furniture both in living areas and bedroom.- and enough of it. Appropriate kitchen equipment- just about everything you need. Garden fabulous- very well designed but you must be able to climb steps so not for infirm. The decking at the top of the garden is fun with a sun house and hanging chair- great place to read. BBQ very effective. There is also a sauna . The house has plenty of space; TV works, plenty of other entertainment for young children. Wi-Fi worked. Location is ideal- at top of high street and parking at harbour is very straightforward and easy.

“FAB cottage, great beach, top marks!”

Reviewed 28 Jun 2013

Super cottage with loads of quirky art work and nooks gave the whole place a different feel for a holiday cottage. The whole place was like a Tardis, big enough for our group to spread out and find some personal space when needed! Good sized rooms for each of us and plenty of downstairs living area for us to relax in. We were lucky with the weather and had several days in the patio and sun garden areas, well into the evening. Top marks for the sauna! Its small, but enough for 4 people to share and the cold water shower was great fun! Garage will park a small car but still the car parking not a problem at all. Bit of a climb up the hill, needed that because of the great food available! Fab holiday and we hope to make a further booking for the future!!!!

“A beautiful house for relaxing days”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2012

The vacation was wonderful. We fell into the house. The rooms were great and you felt comfortable. After a tiring day, you could recover nicely in the sauna and then on the terrace to enjoy the sea view. The house is interesting for everyone. I highly recommend it. Again at any time!

“Fantastic”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2012

This house was great, perfect location for shops and beach, which was very handy having a dog. Loved the house very quirky and comfortable, great garden and decking area, shame we couldnt use that as it rained for two weeks!! Would come again, great for a quiet , relaxing, holiday. Owners parents were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, just like home from home!

“Refreshing, comfortable getaway”

Reviewed 28 Apr 2012

We all had a blast. Very refreshing to get out of the city & stay in such a humble community with everything on the doorstep of our tastefully renovated cottage. We particularly enjoyed our walk at low tide to Monkstone point and then back along the coast path with its sheer cliffs & stunning views. The local establishments were very friendly offering good food & drink with local myth. Very pleased with all the Amenities at Lledroodon especially the spacious open plan kitchen/dinner. Unique detail in the bathroom... we are already planning our next stay!

“A Beautiful Retreat”

Reviewed 23 Apr 2012

Less than a minute from lovely restaurants and shops Llebroodon is extremely private and quiet. We enjoyed the cleverly designed garden - lower patio area and decking at the top of the garden, boasting harbour views. Llebroodon is decorated to a high standard. An extremely comfortable, lovely retreat - a sanctuary.
