Two luxury bathrooms make things easy and the lounge is the perfect place to drink a glass of wine and relax in front of the log burner. The large French doors leading from the lounge to the deck are nothing less than inspiring. The kitchen is gorgeous and the best part of the house is the award winning log burning hot tub. Sit in the tub at night and remember what is really important. It's why you come on holiday.

The house connects directly to the glorious Pembrokeshire Coastal path. A short walk through the woods and you end up on Glen beach - full of tidal pools, water falls, and secluded coves. Location description from owner

The Wales region

Pembrokeshire is home to Britain's only truly coastal National Park and contains a wide variety of beaches. There are more Blue Flag and Green Coast beaches than any other county in the country. Most beaches are easy to reach and ideal for families, others less accessible offer peace and seclusion.

Most provide good swimming and many lend themselves to plenty of other activities too, such as water sports, beach games, rock-pooling or just taking it easy in the sun.

Saundersfoot

We are located within the small coastal village of Saundersfoot, 5 miles from Tenby. Everything you need for a lovely family holiday is here. Restaurants, convenience stores, pubs, shops, a lively harbour, and gorgeous beaches.

If you fancy a day out you will find yourself surrounded by 186 miles of coastal paths that dip in and out of pristine beaches and quaint towns. You can discover the medieval walled towns of Tenby or Pembroke Dock or explore the nearby castles. There are over 50 beaches in Pembrokeshire - so kayaking, surfing, or just having a paddle is at your doorstep. If you love wildlife, it is here in abundance.

A boat trip around Ramsey Island is a real adventure - where you are likely to see dolphins, or Sun Fish, and a plethora of bird life is guaranteed. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is simply a breathtaking experience.

“Great views from a luxury cottage in one of the most beautiful counties in the UK. Loved it.”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2013

We had a really lovely break at this fabulous place. The weather was perfect, and having that direct beach access was great for the dogs. The whole style and feel of Glendale was wonderful, especially that unique deck and amazing view. We loved the attention to detail, reclining Buddha's and driftwood artwork through the windows etc, The cottage facilities were first class and you really felt as if there was no-one around you. A very peaceful bolthole. The hot tub was hard to keep up to temperature and needed quite a lot of attention, but when it was hot it was lovely.

“Fantastic location”

Reviewed 30 Jul 2013

The house is wonderfully located, just out of the village but right on the coast path. It was an easy walk both down to the Glen beach and into the village. We spent most of the week around the house enjoying the facilities...we were very lucky with the weather so BBQ'd most days and enjoyed the gardens and boules pit. The gazebo was a very welcome relief from the midday sun,and the hot tub was fabulous...we tended to have a morning soak about 7.30am as the world was waking up. The decking was bathed in sunshine all day, two of the party even got up to watch the sunrise at 4.30! All in all this was one of those family holidays that will long be associated with 'Good Times'.

“Beautiful cottage fantastic views the hot tub is tue icing on the cake would love to go back!”

The cottage is beautifully furnished with lovely views. Hot tub was fun and very relaxing at the end of the day. It is a picturesque walk to the sea. Town within easy walking distance. Lovely coastal paths. We would love to go back and recommend it to others.

“FABULOUS”

Absolutely amazing! Fantastic location, very peaceful and quiet, with great views. Glendale was perfect, the house was fabulous more than we expected, and very welcoming. Would definately come again, and have recommended it to friends! The owners parents were great, very helpful and friendly, thanx Ann and Mick!

“Stunning property in a stunning location”

Reviewed 28 Sep 2011

What a stunning property! It was the perfect holiday home, luxurious yet practical. Little touches like the fresh flowers, cake and wine on arrival made us feel we really had come somewhere special. The location to Glen beach was ideal and the walk was just right for little legs and parents carrying the beach essentials. We all thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to a family with young children.
