“Feel like a millionaire”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2014

A top quality house, everything has been thought out. The views are breathtaking. Will be definitely going back. Rob, the owner/manager is also most helpful and accomodating. A good 5-10 minute downhill walk to the harbour, but is quite steep walking back. Kept us fit

“Beautiful house in a perfect location for exploring West Wales”

The accommodation is stunning and very comfortable. The owner is extremely helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect as it is close enough to walk to Saundersfoot and the beach and also great for exploring West Wales.

“Excellent property, location and customer service”

I stayed here with my husband and dog for a week and my parent also joined us for a few nights and have to said the property is amazing. I had high expectations lookind at the pictures but it still managed to exceed them. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed by a bottle of wine and two glasses but not only that they had ensured there was a pint of milk in the fridges and tea and coffee etc. Everywhere you looked there were quality fixtures and fittings with no expense spared. It was spotlessly clean with everthing you would need in the kitchen from pizza baking trays (what a great invention) to a fridge freezer that allows you to choose either chucks or crushed ice in your drinks! Even down to the filtered cold water tap and instant boiling water tap...I found myself offering to make tea much more often than I would normally! The bedrooms are spacious with lovely comfy beds and quality bedding...duvets made of quality down and goose feathers that hug you whilst you sleep. The bathrooms were of such a high standing with baths that are deep enough to swim in and either walk-in or double showers with the master bedroom with a huge TV also. After being blown away by the inside of the house you then look out to the views and with a deep breath and mesmorizing gaze the stresses of work and everyday life melted away. The view is stunning to say the least and we easily spent hours watching the landscape change as the different times of the day passed, the cows in a field in the distance worked their way up and down dependant on the sun! Just a short distance down into Sandersfoot and again the town is beautiful and the people so very friendly with great fish and chips as well as other little shops, pubs and restaurants. My dog also loved the beaches, it was his first time and I've never seen him run around with such excitement on the beaches. I really can not rate this property high enough and we will certainly be returning.

“Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful part of Wales”

Rumours is a wonderful place to stay with great views, high specification fittings and very clean. The master bedroom is outstanding with walk in wardrobes and amazing on suite bathroom. There was everything you could need from large fridge/freezer with ice maker through to comfortable large lounge and separate dining room. Saundersfoot is a great area to visit with Tenby within walking distance, coastal walks, cycle routes, boat trips to Caldy island as well as great cafes and restaurants within walking distances.

“Amazing accommodation and location”

I visited Rumours House for my friends 30th (8 in our group) and Rumours House was the perfect place to stay. The accommodation is first class and plenty of space for the 8 of us. the views from the balcony looking out to sea are amazing. The property was only a short walk (5 minutes at most down the hill) to the local pub, small Tescos, beach etc. the beach is really clean and large and I would recommend eating at the Mermaid Restaurant there. The owner Rob is a really friendly and helpful guy, and rob was easily contactable throughout the booking and during our stay. I would definitely recommend and I will be back soon I hope with family :)

“Amazing! 5Stars”

Fabulous place with sea views, very clean and supplying all you need for a very comfort stay. Can't fault property ...and we are very fussy! All finished to a high standard. Few minutes walk to village centre or if it's raining just a £3 taxi ride from local taxi company. Have already recommended to friends and would stay there again - would be a perfect escape with your friends and family.

“Spectacular!!”

We stayed in Rumours last summer and have to say it was amazing. The views alone are breathtaking not to mention it’s in a great location to explore Saundersfoot and the Pembrokeshire coast. The house itself is first class, we didn’t want to leave, it’s extremely well equipped with all the mod cons, I was impressed with the extra tap specifically for boiling water instead of using a kettle (we’re looking into getting one installed at home). All the rooms are spacious and well designed. Myself and my husband had the master bedroom which is beautiful plus it has an incredible en-suite We did have a few bad weather days, which was country wide last year but even this didn’t dampen our spirits and on the occasions when we did stay in, the kids and us big kids alike were well entertained as the owner had supplied a multitude of games and activities that we could all take part in, and seeing the whole family enjoying and having fun on the backdrop of the Pembrokeshire coast was just magical. We also had the heated outdoor swimming pool which the kids absolutely loved, must say they are braver than I am, but as a wonderful bonus Rob (the owner) even supplied wet suits in case it was too chilly outside, which I thought was such a pleasant surprise and really thoughtful. We even got to meet Rob and he left us feeling that nothing would be too much trouble and all we had to do was ask as he just wanted to make our stay an enjoyable one, as it happens we already had more that we could need and I have some wonderful memories from our stay. In Rumors, the owner really has accomplished all the qualities of a top notch hotel but has also managed to keep it feeling homely and inviting. I would thoroughly recommend staying here, we’re already in the process of arranging another stay this summer.

“Lovely”

Reviewed 17 Nov 2012

Amazing modern house, very well set up and the owner Rob was friendly and helpful. The kids loved the big bedrooms and the master bedroom downstairs was massive as was the ensuite bathroom. And the town of Suandersfoot is lovely too, nice beach and enough little shops to amuse. Plus there is a lovely little Indian restaurant there too that we visited a few times! All in all a very enjoyable and memorable holiday, thanks Rob!
