This is a luxury 3-bedroom apartment ( sleeps 8) with shared swimming pool in an ideal location, just 2 minutes walk from beach.

Key features of this resort include a large swimming pool, a children's play area and proximity to the beach (just 200 metres). Plus the apartment itself has much to offer including 2 private balconies from which to enjoy the sun and sunset.

This 3rd floor apartment is stylishly designed and furnished with spiral stairs leading to the upper floor twin bedroom and en-suite with shower cubical. On the lower floor there are two bedrooms (1 with a double bed and the other with twin beds) and there is also a sofa bed in the lounge so the apartment can sleep 8 people in total.

The lounge is well equipped with comfy seating, a TV, DVD player and CD Player. There is also an ample dining area within the lounge. A fully equipped kitchen can also be found on this floor and a bathroom with bath and shower over.

Alternatively you can fly to Oporto (2.5 hour drive) or Faro (3.5 hour drive).

By Road from Lisbon

Sao Martinho do Porto is an easy 1 hour drive from the airport on the A8. Taxis and transfers are available (around € 75-100), as well as a number of car hire options. We will provide detailed directions for your car journey.

From Lisbon to Sao Martinho do Porto by public transport

Coaches to Sao Martinho do Porto run several times a day from Lisbon's Sete Rios coach terminal and the journey time is around 90 minutes. The coach station is a short taxi ride away from the airport (around € 15). Coach information and ticket sales are available at www.rede-expressos.pt

Sao Martinho do Porto

The beautiful town of Sao Martinho Do Porto is built around a beautiful bay naturally shaped by the sea to form a perfect shell. Making the most of the view of the bay a string of cafes and restaurants have emerged offering a diverse range of food and drink.

The majority of the restaurants you'll come across will be traditional Portuguese restaurants specialising in Seafood. Portugal has a superb tradition for fresh fish and shellfish and typically the dishes are reasonably simple making the fresh seafood the feature of the meal. Many traditional restaurants will serve dishes known as Cataplanas. These dishes vary considerably depending on the restaurant but they are delicious and include a variety of seafood cooked with onions and tomatoes to make an extremely tasty casserole. Another traditional dish to look out for is pork with clams.

Apart from the beautiful town there is also a lot of watersports on the great beach during the summer making Sao Martinho a very popular all rounder.
