** We have discounted our normal accommodation fee by 50% until the end of 2024, because currently the swimming pool is being repaired. However, the main Santa Maria Beach is only 300m away **

Inside the apartment….

The apartment accommodates up to 6 people and includes one king size double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, a double sofa bed, a dining table that seats 6 people, kitchen, bathroom with Italian tiles and modern sanitary fitments, (including shower toilet and bidet), and an outside terrace with table and chairs. The kitchen includes the essentials for cooking including a refrigerator, freezer, hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, utensils, crockery and cutlery. The living area is comfortable and well equipped with sofa, coffee table, and television. There are ceiling fans in all rooms. The apartment faces southeast so it is possible to sit on the terrace in the mornings and enjoy a sunny breakfast.

Outside the house…

There is a private terrace overlooking the shared gardens pool. The shared areas include a tropical garden, a large free-form swimming pool, outdoor shower and there are sun loungers on both sun terraces and shaded terraces. There is a bar, restaurant and two small supermarkets just 2 minutes walk away. The sea is just 3 minutes walk away and the town 10 minutes, where there are a number of bars and restaurants.

Your stay includes everything on the inventory (available on request) including bedding, house towels and beach towels. Also included is laundry (of bedding & towels), electricity, gas and water. There is WIFI available in the apartment (extra charges) and a selection of local maps and restaurant guides are available.

Tropical Resort is located close to the centre of the 8km of the white sandy Santa Maria beach. This beach is known for surfing and to the east, about a 25 minute walk, there is a kite beach, comprising a wild stretch of untouched wilderness, where you can enjoy a coffee in a restaurant, kite surf, or paddle with the harmless dog sharks.

Tourist Tax is payable by all adults over the age of 16. The cost is €2 per person per night to a maximum of 10 nights.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Philip (the owner) a message.

If Philip (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
