Description from owner

Description

On Malta's small and tranquil sister island of Gozo this lovely typical farmhouse is situated in the picturesque and quaint village of Sta Lucija, 5 min. from the capital of Gozo and 5 min. from the beach.

The house itself features one livingroom, one livingroom/bedroom, one bedroom, a wooden kitchen with dining area, a bathroom with bath/shower and a small extra toilette. The roof terrace has got a lovely view onto the citadelle and you will enjoy a nice glass of Gozitan wine there in the warm evenings.

By car it takes you under 5 minutes to get to Victoria, the capital of the island and less than 10 minutes to the nearest beach in Xlendi.

In early summer and in autumn Sta. Lucija is an ideal place for long walks over the island and along the cliffs.

The Kempinski Hotel is very near and you can use the spa as a day visitor or just have a nice drink on its terrace.

The Island of Gozo region

Situated in the Mediterrenean Sea, Gozo is a lovely Island, with everything you need for a summer holiday. Secludes bays and beaches, good restaurants, lonely walks and a capital with many shops and a market. Life is still much slower than in other parts of Europe, but you will always enjoy a good service. People are very nice and everybody speaks fluent English.

You can enjoy sun from the end of February through to late November. Last year, when I left Gozo on the 23 December for Germany temperatures had not dropped below 18 degrees (which is more than on many days in summer in Germany).

If you are interested in architecture or churches you can find places of your interes here.
If you are into diving or snorkeling you will certainly know it as a beatiful destintion.

Santa Lucija

Gozo is very small. From the capital it takes you 15 min to get to the sea in every direction and all of it is beautiful. Casa Laeta is situated in Sta. Lucija which is still less unspoiled than other areas and very well connected to the capital and to Xlendi, a lovely bay resort.
The Kempinski is very near, so you can enjoy a nice drink on it´s terrace or a day in the spa.

“Wonderful holiday, charming house in peaceful village”

Reviewed 22 May 2013

We loved Gozo and felt very much at home in the "happy House". We have already booked for this year. The house was not only clean and well equipped but also cosy and comfoftable.
