Cas Can Caxan is a traditional finca, rurally situated in the northern hills between Sant Joan and Sant Miquel, with a distant sea view and splendid sunsets. The finca reaches out over 22 acres, from the meadows in the valley to the forests on the top. The house lies halfway up hill, surrounded by ancient, walled terraces, with Mediterranean plants and fruit trees. The robust architecture reminds one of fore-long Moorish times - indeed some terrace walls date from a thousand years back. Many hands, generation upon generation, cultivated the finca, stone by stone. Successively new techniques were integrated and new rooms added, according to evolving needs. A tradition continuing into present days.
Over the last decade the finca has been authentically renovated, blending in all modern comfort. A new wing and a detached guesthouse (casita) add up to a living space of over 500m2 (600yd2). Hidden at the edge of the forest, there is another 500m2 of top design pool terraces, with swimming pool, children's pool, Jacuzzi and imposing waterfall overlooked by a traditional pavilion with outdoor kitchen.. A view over the infinite waterline reaches from the hills of Sant Miquel over to the shores of the Mediterranean. A holiday at Cas Can Caxan meets all modern needs and wishes in quality. Still it is like stepping into an unbroken chain of time, it calms the mind, slows the heart and opens up the soul to here and now. There is unbroken continuity. All is well. 7. Blue Cloister / Cas Ermita Azul, very basic but romantic castle room with double bed, private wooden sundeck with great view, outdoor shower and use of pool bathroom.

“Excellent and magical week”

I celebrated my 30th Birthday at the villa with a large group of friends. The villa is truly wonderful, very spacious and the pool area is out of this world. We found it easy to get to the nightclubs and attractions of Ibiza from the location and relaxing during the day. The views are lovely to the sea and the countryside. Jeff and Marina were great hosts and we really enjoyed their service over the week. They have a beautiful finca but take a relaxed approach so you truly enjoy it. We used the concierge service and it was well worth it. Jeff cooked a wonderful bbq on the first evening from the local butcher and we used the transport. We are already considering a return trip! 10/10

“Excellent Villa”

16 of us stayed at this lovely villa located on a hillside just outside San Miguel. The villa has a fantastic outside terrace with a large infinity pool, plenty of seating and an outside cooking/bar area. The rooms are all well appointed with plenty of bathrooms to go around, there is a children's bedroom which was a bit of a squeeze for an adult but would be great for a family. Most of the rooms had mosquito nets and all had fans, it would be worth noting that the rooms are supplied with dehumidifers not full blown air con units, the fans were sufficient to allow you to sleep through the hot summer nights although the villa can get very warm. The villa was easily big enough for a large group with plenty of surrounding land and lots of terrace space. With a variety sunbed, shades and pool towels provided. The pool is salt water and has great views! Locally the beach is coarse sand but has plenty of sun beds, cafes and parking, it is enclosed by a headland, so nicely sheltered and pleasent to swim in. The town has all the ammenities needed but I would suggest a car is hired if you want to explore the island and to make the shopping trip easier. We would return to stay again!

My extended family consisting of 3 generations including 3 very young boys stayed ifamily an caxan and we could not have been happier. The layout of the accommodation spread right across the finca could not have suited us better. My only complaint was that the pool area was so breathtaking and comfortable we didn't want to leave the villa to explore the island! From the moment we inquired about booking Henny and Maria took great pride in ensuring we had everything we needed to make the whole experience superb. Maria renovated the place to live in with her family and it certainly showed.what great care and attention had gone into it - so many little homely touches.

I've spent one week in this finca together with my family and friends. We arrived at night and we felt at home right a way, the property is located on a mountain and was beautiful lighted, the pool (different colours of light), the terraces etc. When exploring the site it suprises you all the time with little details and nice decorations everywhere: nice plants, sculptures, terraces with benches etc. It's an ideal place to spend with a group, you have your own space and privacy, but on the other hand you have a holiday together. Our children (6 and 9) really loved the pool and also the soccer field a lot. The decoration and furniture of the finca is authentic, but with todays comfort. You feel it has been rebuilt with love and care, great atmosphere! We had a nice view of Sant Miquel and could also see the sea. Especially at night we had long, nice bbq's at the pool (fully equiped kitchen with a Boretti bbq, bring your own baby phone for when the kids are in bed!) and looked down on the lights of Sant Miquel. This is a small village close by with a supermarket, tabaceria etc., so everything you need. Ibiza is a really beautiful island with a nice atmosphere. Especially the north, where the house is located, is really nice. There are great beaches all over the island, so we never had to drive far to find another great beach again. Renting a car is a must, you really need it to visit things and to do your daily shopping. Overall we had a wonderful week on this beautiful island. Staying in this beautiful house was a big part of this. For sure I want to go back to this house next year!
