Description

This is a one bedroom house in the historic centre of the town.
This house shares side walls with the other houses of the street, so this could be defined a sort of terraced house.
The house has a patricular division of the space, it has only one bedroom but it is quite big, about 70 square meters. There is a kitchen with everything you need, a living room with fireplace, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a big entrance room where I can put 2 additional beds if you need. There is also a terrace outside with a table, chairs and a gazebo.

I imagined this house for two people but if you have a child with you there is one more bed for him.

Due to the very thick walls, the house is very cool during the summer, despite the weather outside is very hot.

In walking distance you can find the museum and the ancient church with catacombs. The nearest beach is 6 km away.
This house is also a good base for going kite surfing in Punta Trettu.

You can use the whole house and everything is inside.

We will meet when you arrive and I'll give you the keys and show you the house, if you need anything during your stay you can call me any time!

The neighborhood is very quiet, in walking distance there is the square of the ancient church where you can do a guided tour to the catacombs, in the nerby you can also find the museum and many phoenician archeological sites.

In this square you can also find a nice pizzeria, a café, a small grocery store, a bakery and a newspapers shop.

The house is on the street that goes to the beaches, so you don't have to cross the entire town when you want to go there.

At the end of the street you can find a bus stop, that bus arrives to the beaches of Maladroxia and Coaquaddus in 10-15 minutes, but it travels only in the months of June, July and August.
In general if you come to Sant'Antioco is better to come by car because in Sardinia there is a very inefficient public transport and in some places there's no public transport at all.

This house was built at the end of 1800 by my grand grand grand parents and it was also my grandmother's house (my other listing was my other grandmother's house). I didn't like this house when I was younger, but while I was doing restoration jobs I started to see the charme of this house. The old pieces of furniture, the old pavements......every single piece of this house tells a story about a time we come from, but that can be experienced only through stories told by elder people.
