Lovely Sunny Cottage with a Short Walk to Beach, Pet Friendly, 5 Night Minimum Stay, Private!Would consider renting for less than a week if there are openings 4 to 5 weeks before date Surround yourself with sunshine, seclusion and the sound of the sea.This lovely, cheerful 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage has old Florida Charm ...and is newly updated.Situated on a private, sleepy lane it is only a 2 to 3 minute walk to the beach. The Cottage has all the amenities of home... WiFi, 3 TV's, DVR, washer and dryer, granite kitchen and dishwasher. Wake to the sound of the waves breaking, perhaps a visit from an Egret, Heron or Ibis all while enjoying fresh brewed coffee on the privacy of your own sunny deck. This Sunny Shell Basket cottage is one of the very few homes that are allowed NIGHTLY rental on Sanibel Island. Comfortable, charming and cozy…not your typical vacation rental. I must say this is the most peaceful, relaxed and happy we have felt in a while and we are sure we owe that to "Little Miss Sunshine". I do recommend a car...but the island has over 20 miles of bike paths.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
