Description

This recently redecorated south facing villa is situated in a quite but central part of Sanibel called Lake Murex . It is a spacious 4 bedroom, 3 full bath villa with a large open plan living area. The veranda overlooks the lake , the pool and the garden. There's a large poolside area with a hammock, poolside furniture and a gas grill, offering shade and sun. There's a double garage, a heated and caged pool 16ft x 40ft approx .The house has cable tv , flatscreen tvs in all bedrooms ,2 dvd players ,high speed wireless internet access, phone .The pool is situated in a large garden on the banks of Lake Murex..The beach is a 3 minute drive away with parking at Trade Winds which has a superb restaurant called Normandie ( see ariel photo). There are private tennis courts across the street .There are cycle lanes everywhere.The island has a huge selection of fine restaurants..The island is very welcoming ,safe and child friendly . Your pet is very welcome , there is a $200

The Southwest Gulf Coast region

Sanibel Island is an unsoiled tropical island joined to the Florida mainland by a 3 mile bridge. The island is narrow with the The Gulf of Mexico one side and San Carlos Bay other side. Sanibel is an upmarket destination and forbids the big multiples like Mc Donalds ,Walmart, Pizza Hut etc... ,so most of the shops and restaurants are owner run, giving a very low key ,easy going ,personal and friendly atmosphere to the island.There are cycle lanes everywhere. It's very safe and great place for kids. There are 3 beautiful golf courses on the island The Dunes ,The Sanctuary and Beach View .Over half the island is a nature reserve and you can cycle, drive or canoe through most of it.
